Luckily I had read a lot of reviews on this site for face lift procedures, so I was prepared for the extensive swelling the next day and didn't freak out when I looked in the mirror! I took 2 weeks off work and when I went back I looked fine. Only one person noticed that I looked a little swollen, so I was pleased that it was not too obvious. I still look like myself, only it's the me that I looked like before I started to sag! When I am with other people my age I really see the difference between how I look now and how everyone else my age looks. I love it!
