It's been 4 months - and not what I expected

So... I did what I was asked and its been the full 4 months for treatment on the "major" areas I wanted to see improvement (thighs and stomach). Very disappointing for the time and money I spent on this. I've seen other posts and maybe you have to be a certain person to get results, I certainly did not. I rescheduled my "official" 4 months at the physicians office due to a conflict but at this point, its just a check in for me because I do feel its been a waste of my time and money.

Continuing to watch.. and wait. (3 months thighs and inner flanks, 2 months abdomen, 1 month outer flanks)
seussmdSeptember 21, 2015
So back in mid June I had my inner thighs and my upper flanks Coolsculpted. July 3 I had my upper and lower abdomen done and then in August, my back flanks. Maybe I should have done them all closer together, I don't know but ... I gotta say looking at my thighs... yea not seeing anything. I am committed to waiting the full 4 months (which would take me into October/November ) but I am sure hoping to see some better results than what I've got at the moment.
This was an investment of my time as well as my money. I spent 6-8 hours at the office each time for treatments which meant being off of work. I've continued to work out and eat well. I'll update the pics in October too.

I'm hoping you get your results, but....your journey is like the one I had with Ultherapy. Lots of money and lots of pain, then WAIT for results. At two months, nothing. Four months, nothing. Nurse said, "You need to give it the full SIX months!". So, six months, nothing. One year, nothing. The longer they give you to wait, the more likely they think they will never have to hear from you again. That's what I think!!

Lots of money, lots of time, I was fortunate not to have the pain experience but looking at your comment... I am concerned that this was a waste of both. I've seen other reviews and posts where the results looked favorable but... I am noticing those are usually people who's PRE photos look like what I would want POST. They say you need at least an inch of pinchable fat but some folks getting this done I can't see where they would find an inch of fat... Anyhow, so far, not impressed. Unless something happens in the next month, I would say this was a waste of money and time and not recommend it.

Any results ?

In my opinion no - not really. Not for the time and money spent. You can see from other posts that there are some other opinions. I put the before pictures and 4 months later - and during this time I worked out 3-5 days a week and ate well. I think the results are more related to the workout than Coolsculpting. For me - it wasn't a good choice; for others it may be. I ended up just having a tummy tuck a month ago.

the first 3 days are the worst - and it gets better. There is swelling and sleep and all kinds of things but I'm hopeful. Cost wise - I combined it with a BL so I only paid one anesthesia fee and surgery center fee, cut the cost tremendously. Honestly for what I paid for the CS it would have paid for the BL . Everyone has preferences - and what works for them.

Thank you so much ! Just to have an idea what's the cost of a tummy tuck? Which other body parts did you do? I'm debating because I haven't had kids yet if I should even do a tummy tuck yet. I'm 32 years old . Had lipo so far but after a year my fat came back partially so that's why I looked into coolsculpting

Depends on where you are and who you go with, get a few consults and ask alot of questions.

Two month update
seussmdAugust 29, 2015
Had my follow up - it's been almost 3 months for thighs and flanks and two months for abdomen . I'm not real thrilled so far - especially since that means I'm supposedly half way there and with no difference ... I'm thinking this wasn't worth it. Unless something drastic happens then this was not a good investment

Hmm I'm sorry thus didn't work out as planned! Must be aggravating with the time and expense and of course pain and discomfort.....
August 30, 2015
No pain, minimal discomfort with all of it but the rear flanks (last 2) but ... the time and the money? yea.. $5K and spending full days getting treatment. That hurts. I could have used that money elsewhere for sure. I am still working out, I eat healthy 85% of the time so I hoped that I would see SOME change 2 months in. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle. I'll post an update in 30 days, and another in another 30.
Doc is going to do Vasershape for me next week on all the treated areas since I'm unhappy so far. I'll post how that goes too.

I had VelaShape done on my legs a couple of years ago and actually lost too much fat too fast, and the skin didn't catch up and sagged. So, if this is a slower method that offers more gradual results, that could be a good thing.

I got nothing from coolsculping and enough time has passed. I was too a great candidate being only 114lb with only fat around my mid area due to menopause. I really feel that doctors are promising more than this procedure can deliver.

I see results - the abdomen and flanks look smaller.
September 4, 2015
Yea? I guess I'm more critical - thank you for saying that - i am going to continue to update. Doctor did vasershape yesterday on all the treated areas - will put another review and pics. She said my tummy looked smaller

That is really too bad. I was thinking about this procedure for my flanks, but two-three months with no results does not sound encouraging. I sure hope the doctor gives you another session at no charge. After all of that pain and discomfort and a lot of $$$...you clearly deserve some results!!
September 6, 2015
Someone said they see it - he did give me free vasershape last week - I'll see how it goes over the next two months

I'm not familiar with Vasershape, is it radio frequency like VelaShape? Treatments for Vela III are very expensive, and it takes at least four to see any results at all, and by then you have a significant investment in a process that is a "maybe".

Hi there,
Vaser Shape is an FDA approved procedure. Here's a Doctor Q&A that I hope is helpful in explaining the pros and cons of Vaser Shape.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks Gina! I wasn't sure how to explain it. Think with most things it may take a few to see what you want - I'm not giving up yet....:-)

I wish they would do away with cool sculpting in most cases,it doesn't work or it causes other problems.I think most people need a tummy tuck instead to get the results they want.I think it is only good for people with a small amount of fat.

I think cool sculpting works on some people in very certain situations but that it is simply NOT meant to be used on the variety of patients these doctors are trying to use it on!
More doctors need to be results oriented instead of profit oriented.
