So in order for my review to appear under Facelifts I actually have to say more than how wonderful Dr. Koelliker is. My facelift experience was wonderful. I spent 3 days in the hospital. Dr. Koelliker visited me before the surgery and looked at my face and decided what would be best for me. After the surgery he visited me several times a day. I received pain killers and medication for swelling and was very comfortable the entire time. After 3 days a driver picked me up and brought me to Caso Marino in San Miguel where I recovered the rest of the time. My swelling was gone within 5 days but my bruising took a little longer. Five weeks at least before all my bruising was gone because of the upper bleph but a little makeup hide the bruising quite well. Scars are minimal around the ears but there is scarring along the hair line behind the ears which will fade in time. I couldn't be happier with the results. My jaw line is tight and totally natural looking. Dr. Koelliker came to Casa Marino the day before I left to remove the sutures and to make sure I was healing properly.
