I just turned 36 and have two kids, 12 and 14 (almost). I am scheduled for a mini tummy tuck and breast augmentation on 7/23, but found out I also have to have one of my ovaries removed on 7/12. Not sure if the doctors are going to let me go under anesthesia again so soon. I have a final appointment with my PS tomorrow to discuss. Also nervous about not being able to exercise or have "extra friendlies" for a while.

"Extra friendlies"! Love that! Is there any chance you could combine your surgeriers? I don't know how those things work, but it might be worth asking!

Please keep us posted on your journey!

I could not do both at the same time because neither doctor has priviledges at the other's hospitals. Would have loved to have gone that route but with the cyst being in a different spot than originally thought I'm kind of glad I didn't.

Hi TXkitty! Welcome! You and your kids are the same age as me and mine! There's a girl on this site that had her appendix removed and her tummy tuck in the same surgery. Yours sound even less risky, as far as bacteria is concerned. Her surgeon went to wherever her regular doctor planned the surgery. Keep us updated :)

Surgery rescheduled again :(

My surgery to remove the cyst went well although it was not on my ovary after all but wrapped around my intestines. Luckily another surgeon was in the facility and was able to step in for my OBGYN before they cut me open from hip to hip. As a result, my PS wants to wait a month in between surgeries to ensure there is no infection present. So now I'm scheduled for 8/13. Still very nervous because of the pain I've had with the laproscopic surgery this week. I can only imagine what my tummy tuck is going to feel like.

Surgery at the same time

To those that asked, I tried to have both surgeries done at the same time but my doctors do not have privileges in the same hospitals. In the end I think it worked out with my cyst not going as expected anyway.
