I love Dr Mohan. I wish he could be my PCP/ GP too. The first time you meet with him he describes everything is great detail. He gives you his cell number AND HE ANSWERS HIS PHONE & text same day! I’ve worked in healthcare for 8+ years so I’ve known countless physicians. Dr Mohan treats you like family, not exaggerating- my whole family had his number in their phone when I was consulting before surgery. This man is a magician! I initially consulted him for a breast lift a few years ago but was hesitant to get the surgery. So I started with him giving me Botox and then I recently had a breast reduction, lift and full tummy tuck. I’m healing so well (7 weeks out). His staff and team are so great- I love his NPs & MAs as well. They really treat you like family
Exceptional doctor that goes above and beyond for his patients. He truly listens and cares. I had botox and juviderm lip injections done by Dr. Mohan and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Highly recommended
Dr. Mohan was beyond exceptional! I work with many physicians in my job and have never met one more professional and personable than him. He spent so much time making sure I was aware of every part of the surgery before and after. I felt so comfortable the entire time! I did not experience pain, and the recovery was wonderful! The results are truly life changing and better than I could have ever imagined. I am so thankful to have been a patient of Dr. Pradeep Mohan!
I had Juvederm injections by Dr. Mohan in my lips. I could not be more satisfied. He listened to what I wanted, & carefully explained what he would be doing to make sure I understood fully before he started. My lips turned out beautiful. I did have some bruising which was to be expected. It was very minimal, & didn’t last long. His staff even checked up on me a few days later to make sure all was well. What an amazing experience.
Talented, skilled, caring: Dr.Mohan takes pride in his excellence & always makes me feel my case is important to him. He performed reconstruction for my PBMastectomy Jan. 2015; I am thrilled with results. Strongly recommend him!
My surgery went great. I have had many healing issues (nothing to do with Dr. Mohan, just my body not wanting to heal) and Dr, Mohan has been there every step of the way. He has gone above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. I would absolutely do this all again, even with the issues I have had. Updated on 16 Mar 2016: I suffered with neck and back pain since my early teen years. Headaches were just a normal daily occurrence that you learn to live with. I hated my breast size for as long as I could remember. Now that I was in my forties, I knew I needed to do something. I started researching surgeons once my insurance changed and they started covering reductions. My primary dr referred me to the surgeon she dealt with. I looked up reviews for Dr. Mohan and was impressed with what I found. I scheduled my consultation and he spent a great deal of time with me explaining every detail. He sent me to physical therapy for 6 weeks to verify what he suspected, that it would not be enough to stop my pain. He sent in the report to my insurance to preapproval and thankfully they did approve it. I had my surgery in Dec. and it was an immediate relief of the pain and headaches. I have had many issues with fluid build up and stitches not dissolving and he has had to go back in and put in drains ect.. I have a feeling if I had done this years ago like I should have, I would not have had the healing issues. My dr has been amazing. Consulting with other dr's that deal with healing problems daily for advise and treatment options. It was very reassuring to know he cared enough to do that. It's now March and I am pretty much healed. He will have to do one more procedure to adjust some sizing difference that was caused from my healing problems. I would absolutely do this again even knowing I would have issues. Dr. Mohan has been there every step of the way and continues to be there. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. My biggest advise, listen to your dr! You may feel great after surgery like I did and you may want to do too much at once. I promise you, you are not healed as much on the inside as you think you are. This is a LONG process. My surgery ended up being almost 12 hours long. That's a major surgery. Take your time and let your body heal. Rest as much as you can. DO NOT pick anything up, follow the instructions to the letter. It is so worth it. :)
I don't have enough words to express how much Dr. Mohan changed my life for the best.... I had an umbilical hernia for 9 years that I struggled with and the loose skin from 3 pregnancies. I'm beyond thrilled with my results and will forever thankful to Dr. Mohan. I heard about Dr. Mohan from a friend... Ihad gone to several surgeons and I never felt comfortable with any until I met with Dr. Mohan and his staff! I went in for a consult and he ordered a CT scan to see about the hernia and any underlying issue... we scheduled for the surgery. Surgery was December 9, 15... it was about a 6 hour surgery at the hospital, I stayed for 2 nights and had 2 drains in for one week. The first 10 days were miserable pain wise but I had good meds... swelling was very minimal.
I just turned 36 and have two kids, 12 and 14 (almost). I am scheduled for a mini tummy tuck and breast augmentation on 7/23, but found out I also have to have one of my ovaries removed on 7/12. Not sure if the doctors are going to let me go under anesthesia again so soon. I have a final appointment with my PS tomorrow to discuss. Also nervous about not being able to exercise or have "extra friendlies" for a while. Updated on 16 Jul 2013: My surgery to remove the cyst went well although it was not on my ovary after all but wrapped around my intestines. Luckily another surgeon was in the facility and was able to step in for my OBGYN before they cut me open from hip to hip. As a result, my PS wants to wait a month in between surgeries to ensure there is no infection present. So now I'm scheduled for 8/13. Still very nervous because of the pain I've had with the laproscopic surgery this week. I can only imagine what my tummy tuck is going to feel like. Updated on 16 Jul 2013: To those that asked, I tried to have both surgeries done at the same time but my doctors do not have privileges in the same hospitals. In the end I think it worked out with my cyst not going as expected anyway. Updated on 23 Jul 2013: My surgery is scheduled for 3 weeks from today!! Woot Woot!! Still nervous but still so excited. One of my daughter's friend's mom told her to tell me that I was pretty and didn't need to have this surgery. That's sweet but this surgery is not about beauty (ok maybe a little) but more about my confidence. I'm sure the judgement will come though from all the haters. Has anyone else experienced this? Updated on 7 Aug 2013: So surgery is scheduled for 8/13 and my financing just fell through. The provider will not accept the contract of the financing company so my account is dead in the water. Not quite sure what I'm going to do at this point but I guess I'll get it figured out. Updated on 20 Aug 2013: So the financing falling through turned out to be a good thing (as it usually does). I found another way to pay for my surgery that is secured and at 3% interest. Score!! Back on Dr. Mohan's schedule for Sept 3rd. Yippee!!! Updated on 3 Sep 2013: The day is finally here. It's 5 am and I'm scheduled for surgery at 7 am!! Very excited but still nervous. I have cleaned my house, washed all the laundry including sheets and gotten my family as ready as I can. I have all of my prescriptions filled and a bag packed for my overnight stay. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but I'll post it when I remember or when I'm able :) Updated on 6 Sep 2013: Surgery was Tuesday and everything went well. The surgery itself took about 10 hours. Originally I was only to have a mini tummy tuck, but Dr didn't think I would be happy with the hooding that occurred, so he did a full tummy tuck. The pain is about what I expected after reading reviews on here. I spent the night in the hospital hoping to get some rest, but instead was woken often to stand and walk and try to pee. Once I could do all that I was released. I have 2 drains in my belly and ace bandages. The garment that was provided was too small so I will receive another on Monday. Sleeping in my recliner is a real bummer. I usually sleep on my side or tummy, so I'm pretty tired and uncomfortable. Hoping to have the drains removed on Monday and can move back to my bed. As far as drugs, I'm taking an antibiotic, hydrocodone, and Valium. Updated on 8 Sep 2013: Feeling better than I thought I would. The pain is not bad at all and I'm only taking Advil at this point. Hate these binders and drains though! Hoping to have the drains removed tomorrow since I'm only empting around 10 cc a day. Soooo want a real shower!! Updated on 11 Sep 2013: Went for follow up on Monday and was told to keep the drains a little longer. Was able to shower last night though and all I can say is AHHHH! Implants are still very high but otherwise look ok. Can't wait to see the final results. Follow up again today with doc and was able to have one drain removed. YAY! Much more comfy. My new garment also came in so I feel like a sausage now. Also added a band to help push the implants down. Now very comfy but not too bad. Adding a pic from last night after my shower. I think it looks pretty good all things considered. I am a little disappointed that I still have so many stretch marks but can't complain about the flatness. Updated on 18 Sep 2013: Its been two weeks last night since surgery and I must say I feel pretty darn good. I'm not happy with the implants being high but realize this takes time to settle. Still have one drain but hoping it comes out tomorrow. Not liking the onesie garment either but what can you do? All in all so far I'm happy. Adding a couple of pics to show progress.
Hello, Thank you for your question. Just looking at the photo, I would suggest liposuction with Bodytite. It is a laser and liposuction combination which will help tighten the skin and remove the fat. It has very good results. I like the system and patients are very happy. The down time is minimal compared to an abdominoplasty. A lot depends on the skin tone and quality as well. If there is muscle laxity/separation, a tummy tuck would be more beneficial both for contour and strengthening the core. I would definitely visit a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for a consultation to get a better idea. They will help direct you so that you can obtain the best possible result. I hope this was helpful. Sincerely Pradeep S. Mohan, M.D.
Dear txgirl1994, I do not believe you need a lift. The nipple position is not low as it would be in someone who may need a lift. In addition, depending on the size of the implant, the breasts will lift a bit as well. In your case, you are a good candidate for breast augmentation if you are wanting to increase the size and improve the shape and contour of your breasts. A more thorough examination by a board-certified plastic surgeon will definitely help you determine what options you have to achieve the best results. Sincerely, Pradeep S. This is a good question and is one of the negative outcomes that could occur with Botox. Botox could travel to the muscle that support the eyelid paralyzing them resulting in a droopy eyelid or brow. This outcome, though, is dependent on the site of injection, concentration, and volume injected along with post-procedure management (for example not putting pressure on the injection sites "pushing the Botox" into the wrong muscles around the eye). As with any procedure, negative outcomes are possible but are drastically reduced with proper technique. Botox is very effective and, when administered properly by a board certified surgeon, can give you great results. It is also important to give a complete medical history to make sure there are no contraindications to you receiving Botox.Usually, patients who have not received Botox in the past can have "droopy" eyebrow for 2-3 weeks as the surrounding muscles get used to being paralyzed. This usually resolves and reduces in occurrence as you keep consistent with your injections over time. If Botox paralyzes the muscles supporting the eyelid and this begins to droop, eyedrops are available to help counteract this. You use the eyedrops for a few weeks after which the eyelid starts to function properly.Definitely discuss your concerns with your physician. I am sure that they will answer all of your questions and will help you decide if Botox is the treatment for you. Good Luck and thank you for your question.
Your situation is very similar to another patient of mine. She began exercising a little earlier than you, around 8 months. The only difference is that I also repaired an umbilical hernia. She had swelling with some abdominal discomfort. I believe she may have pulled or torn a few muscle fibers resulting in the swelling. The swelling and discomfort went away after a few days of rest. I asked her to slowly increase her exercise level after a month, which she did. She was doing well at her 10 month post-op visit but still gradually increasing her activity. I recently saw her at a 13 month follow-up visit and she was exercising (running and weight training-core muscles included) without difficulty and feels fine. The patient did benefit from exercise by having a stronger core and further abdominal definition. It would be good to check with your doctor. You could be overdoing it. The swelling should subside with rest but should be evaluated by a physician to make sure it is nothing else. You want to make sure the exercise is not causing further damage which can be detrimental to your health.I do believe that when the muscle is repaired or tightened, it can be irritated with stress within the first year and sometimes more. It can depend on different factors such as how strong the muscles were prior to surgery, how much you stress the muscles, for what length of time, how soon after surgery, and the degree of muscle tightening done. I hope this helps!
