Hi Poopa, I am very happy with my results. I wasn't expecting them to come out this good. My doctor was absolutely amazing. Yes, i stayed at a recovery retreat. Very cheap. $85 a day. It includes transportation to dr, food, nurse, etc. wonderful owners.

By any chance did you have any complications with your implants? Such as capsular contraction or leaking. I have both and when dealing with this the PS has to have experience removing the capsules because there is a possibility that the scar tissue inside your breast after removal can adhere together which can cause a deformity in the breast.

My doctor removed mine en bloc meaning he pulled the scar tissue and implant out together. I had a small capsular contraction

Paola the coordinator mentioned that I was the third person from the states that has called since your posting! Your breasts a famous!! Lol

esperanza are you from the U.S.. That's where I am traveling from (Boston) and I was wondering how long you stayed for aftercare and if you had drains. The aftercare is so affordable that staying a few extra days seems to be the smartest thing. I am also worried about the flight back. I'm nervous about tearing the sutures.

I think he requires 8 days but not positive. I think every case is different. I stayed a few days extra to have a little vacation. He didn't use drains on me. He put some strong tape on everything to protect my sutures so I think you will be fine. Oh and PRP is platelet rich plasma. It's your own plasma. It has so many beneficial properties. I also went into a hyperbaric chamber right after surgery to help with healing and to help the fat and PRP bind.

Thanks for your response. If you feel comfortable post some updated pics. I would love to see how they are looking. I'm not being creepy:) Your results will encourage me to follow through with this nerve racking surgery. I'm so nervous about being in another country alone after surgery.
I spoke with Dr. Urzola two days ago and he answered all of my questions extensively. He's very nice. I'm sure I will think of more questions within the next few weeks. I'm going to skype him next time. I need to place a face with the voice.
Did you enjoy your stay at the ranch? There are some mixed reviews on trip advisor. People either loved it or hated it!!
Oh one more question. What cup size did you end up with? I was hoping for a full C. I'm not sure how much fat he is going to need. I have 200cc implants being removed. I was a C and I am now a DD after all my weight gain and loss. My boobs are a horror show!! Ha ha. I'm sure I'll have more questions for you and I can't thank you enough for answering them. I will post some pics real soon. They haven't changed much since my first pic. Don't be nervous about being in another country. Dr Urzola and his staff made me feel more secure than any other medical facility. And the staff at Chetica are do nurturing. Yes, I'm sure there are some mixed reviews. Some don't like being so far out but if your in San Jose it's hot and muggy and you can't walk 2 min without sweating. Chetica is perfect for healing. And many complain about the food but the food they make is centered around healing. Lots of protein etc. if your purpose is to heal it's the perfect place in my opinion. If you go and make friends with other ladies there you won't be bored. I believe I am going to be a small C (still in compression bra). I was also a D or DD before. bTw my first name is Hope. Tell Dr Urzola you spoke with me so he can compare my procedure with what you want. He is extremely nice and even more so in person.

I didn't know there was a fb group for women with BI illnesses. I will have to look that up. I've read about many women's health issues related to their implants on this website and it's horrible.
I'm going to do a little bit of research about fat transfers to breasts. Dr. Urzola suggested I do that before I make my final decision. I guess there are pros and cons. I plan on scheduling my surgery the second or third week in April. That means I will probably be bugging you with questions until then. Lol

I didn't know there was a FB site regarding this but I will check it out.
I mentioned all the problems I was having with my doctor and she basically dismissed me. On my follow up visit she said she did her own research and said there was no basis to link any of my issues with my ruptured implant!! I was also hoping insurance would help pay for them to be removed because of the capsular contracture and rupture but they refused. This is how I ended up on this wonderful site.

Hi TillyMay, I am almost a year out and yes I am still happy. It is quite an adjustment though because it takes so long to heal and your breast go through so many changes before they start to settle. I am very happy with my decision and my choice of doctor.

I forgot to ask if any of your health issues have changed. It's probably to early to tell but I hope they resolve in time.

Yes my health has for sure changed. No more bladder pain, muscle spasms, insomnia or hand tingling.

Hi Christine, did you use Dr Feng? I've heard great things about her. No, my breasts have not gotten smaller at all. If anything they have filled out more. Dr Urzola uses PRP which helps the fat stay. Then he suggests going a few times to the hyperbaric chamber.

Yes, I went to Dr. Feng for the capsulectomy and explant. She did a good job with the medical aspect of it but not the aesthetic aspect! My boobs are so deflated! I am very excited to find out about this Dr. urzola. Glad you got a fantastic result. Most cases complain that 70% of fat is lost. PRP must be the key! Can you tell me how long it took before you were able to get back with daily activities? Thank You

How are you feeling after explant? I am feeling pretty good. Well they have stem cell and prp that will help retain the fat but the problem is finding someone here to do it and that doesn't charge the price of a house if they do, do it. I literally had 0 pain in my breast after surgery. It was my lipo area that was painful. I took a tour there about 5 days after surgery and 10 days after I went on vacation to another part of the country. Of course I couldn't get in the water or do activities but at least I was able to get out. I walked a mile at the ranch two days after surgery. Today I am 6 weeks out and feel pretty good. I wouldn't lift weights or anything like that yet although it's probably ok I just don't feel ready yet. I was so sick before explant. Slow and steady for me.
