Hi Everyone. I really wasn't going to write this...
Hi Everyone. I really wasn't going to write this review but since Eva (The community Manager) suggested I do to help others, here I am. Now I honestly refuse to add more negative stories to the internet and just leave it like that, so I will explain my story, then what I am doing to help heal...
I was on holiday with a friend and her Aunt had a Laser device that had 3 settings. One is scar removal, the other hair removal and the third is a red light which simply puts heat in you face... I was excited as it was free and she said there are really no risks at all (Usual price around $200 per session).. So I did three sessions two weeks apart as I was there for 6 weeks.
The heat was too high I imagine, and the sessions too close together. It's best to have low heat and sessions months apart, not weeks..
So I lost LOADS of fat in my face. My friends gasped when they saw me thinking I had gotten too thin, however in fact I was heavier than before, it was all in my face. My once glowing skin got a little more dull, and I now have red blotches and veins all over my once clear skin. I also have tiny little dents all over that you can only see if you look closely. I looked so different, and so sudden.
I was really traumatized for a while, and the worse thing was that over time it got worse mostly the face getting thinner. It has been a year and a half since I did this.
Well I realize that worrying does not make it any better, in fact it can make you look worse. Stress alone can do horrible things to your skin, so I made the choice to stop worrying, and firstly accept what happened, and believe it will heal.. So now comes the encouragement for anyone who may of experienced the same thing.
I am a Christian and believer that God makes miracles, so that's the first thing I want to share, and I truly believe this. The more I focus on this the better I feel and it helps. I've seen miracles myself so I believe it. And simply trusting God and his plans for me is enough.
So now to all the products and things that can help. I will list them down one by one..
1. Psoria Gold - This should be used right after the laser. It is a Turmeric product which is a natural inflammatory and if used before 6 months after the laser, it can help reverse the damage.
2. Eat healthy foods, lots of vegetables and foods with natural vitamins. All the most powerful cures come from nature!
3. Take Turmeric pills, Vitamin C, fish oil (I use Issho Genki Squalene) It goes through a strict packaging process in Japan, and they ship it from the fresh waters of New Zealand. It's a bit pricey but worth it. This is also anti inflammatory and helps with oxygen flow in the body and cell renewal.
4. The Squalene I mention above I put on my face twice a week by breaking the capsule open. This method is used on skin cancer, so obviously has powerful healing benefits.
4. Raw Manuka Honey mask. If you can spread a little Manuka honey over your face every night then do so, but try to do it at least 3 times per week.
4. Emu oil is also an inflammatory, and you can apply a little after the honey mask. Remember every persons skin is different so if you react to the oil then stop using it.
5. For the fat loss- the fish oil directly on your skin is supposed to actually help encourage the fat cells and fill out the skin. It won't be a drastic difference, but every little helps.
I also spoke to a lady who's face filled out after 5 YEARS.. Yes it's a long time, but sometimes patience and a positive attitude can help even the toughest things...
It might be years since this happened to you, but first remember to accept and move on. If we do this then we release a huge amount of baggage and stress and allow the healing to take place. The skin is the largest organ in the body and CAN heal if you allow it. With proper nutrition, rest, drink plenty of water, take vitamins, eat healthy, reduce sugar in your diet or even cut it out if you can. Stop eating dairy product which will cause more flare ups in the skin.
I found an article on the internet that explains the healing stages of the body which include... the inflammatory response, repair phase, and remodeling phase.
The doctor explains that depending on the damage it can take less or more time to heal whether it's months or years. We have to give our bodies a chance. The article was more on other organs in the body, bones etc, but again the skin is the largest organ in the body and the same should apply. He mentioned that if we don't let our bodies in the effected area rest long enough then we have to start all over again from scratch. So lets not stress and use harsh things on our skin or give up after only a short time of not seeing any improvement. The lady who I mentioned healed after 5 years, had a very natural diet and only used natural products on her face..
