Rebuild Tip of Nose - San Francisco, CA
ORIGINAL POST
Hi everyone. I'm scheduled to finally have my nose...
$4,400
Hi everyone. I'm scheduled to finally have my nose "fixed" tomorrow. I've been wanting to do this for years because it will help my breathing and hopefully improve my profile! The cartilage in my nose is sadly lacking so the Dr will take some from my ear to rebuild the tip. Just a local anesthetic so I'm nervous about it

Day of treatment
Made it!
Ok the surgery wasn't as bad as I feared. Still numb and have antibiotics and pain pills for when the numb wears off. Back at the hotel tucked up in bed

So glad you are on the other side of this. How long had you been considering having this done? When you get a chance, please let us know how you're feeling today!

Hi. Day 3 and I'm feeling pretty good. I never had to take the Demerol but was able to manage the pain with Advil. I've been thinking about this surgery for over 15 years and finally got up the nerve to do it. Just choosing a Dr took me 1 year. Very pleased with my choice of Dr Lee. Stitches and split come off next week. Can hardly wait

Bandages & stitches removed - Day 9
Had the bandages and stitches removed on 7/22/15. Ouch! That wasn't pleasant. Anyway, nose of course is still swollen but I can already see the difference and am quite pleased with the results so far. I needed a skin graft so those stitches won't come out until 8/4/14. Here are pictures from Day 9 after the surgery

your nose looks very good...I can see the difference in the lenght and tip although you are only on day 9. In 2-3 month time you'll be awesome.

I'm on day 16 after the surgery and feel great. So satisfied with the results so far
