Masseter Botox for Jaw Reduction - San Francisco, CA

I have been getting botox injections in my masseter muscles for jaw reduction about every 6 mos for the past four years. This is a relatively rarer indication for botox and finding clinicians that don't just know how to do this but are actual experts at it is still difficult. I had been getting injections at 2 different plastic surgeon offices before, and they were done by NP's. This was the first time a surgeon herself administered the botox and did so in such a skillful way, I realized I had just been getting injections before but now I get tailored jaw reduction that is beyond my expectations. Because Dr. Chiu is a surgeon of the face, she knows the anatomy so well and the specific areas and relative amounts of botox she places in what I previously thought was just one big muscle. This has provided results that make my jawline so naturally and beautifully thin, sculpted, balanced and feminine. She is truly not only amazing at botox but an exceptional physician who truly SERVES the patient with all of his/her specific desires. She is so easy going, approachable, accommodating and confident in her skills and knowledge. If I ever need facial surgery in the future, I will come to her. My entire experience with my appointments with her are always very pleasant including minimal wait time, excellent secretary (Ramona for example reschedules me about 4x the day of my appt per my request), and I never feel hurried. I happen to be a physician myself and Dr. Chiu provides a bedside manner, expertise, and skill that is exceptional from both a clinician or patient perspective.
