The treatment was very simple, the one I had was called micro laser peel sciton erbium laser, Sciton is the name of the company which manufacture the laser machine. After the first treatment, my skin started to flake which is normal because the old skin cells on the surface is dead after exposure to laser, revealing a newer fresher look. I've been asked to wash my face before we started the treatment, after that they put me in a chair when they started applying the laser, in the same time the doctor was applying cold air the the area treated because you can get discomfort especially if you have a sensitive skin, I'm moroccan so my dark skin was tolerating pretty well the procedure and I didn't feel any pain, that's because the treatment is not deep into the blood cells, some of people can find it unforfortable if their skin is sensitive, even if it is just superficial laser. TBH the results were not what I really have expected, I think because they did not went as deep as I was hoping them to go, or maybe they had to go through the same area two times. I had some acne scars that's the reason why I decided to but the two sessions treatment, even after two treatments of light laser the scars are still visible and they haven't improve, it did help with the some fin line I had making them less visible but they're def still there. There was 4 weeks between the 1st and 2nd treatment, after the first treatment, I've noticed some dark spots in the ala of my noise just in top of the naris, this pigmentation spots has been now for more than a month and even after the second treatment it still there, when i told the Dr about it he said that I may have exposed to the sun but I've been wearing sunscreen all the time, and the weather was cold weather when I had my first treatment so I don't think this was cause by the sun, you can barely see it as it's located in the corner of the ala but it bothers me because I decided to go through this treatment to get a better skin complication and not causing more dark spots. I don't know what I should do now to get rid of this pigmentation. As a conclusion, I'm not happy with this treatment and I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're buying it from Groupon, It is just a way for them to get you in, once you're there they start promoting their products and procedures, that you won't maybe need. I would like to get of this pigmentation! it is really bothering me, even if it is not too obvious I'm sure that is was caused by the laser. I haven't achieved my goals yet and I still have scars on my face, I'm posting some picture so you can see the result after two treatments. also you can notice some acne scars on my cheek which were there before treatment, and you'll notice a dark spot on the ala of my naris which showed just few days after my skin healed from the laser.
