Uneven ?

$7,500
It’s been over a year and my nostrils look uneven. One side of my nose tip feels stiff while the other feels squishy. It was uneven when healing, but I trusted the process. It remained crooked. /:

Have you spoken with your surgeon about a possible revision?
I went in for a check-up. He took photos. He didn't see anything wrong. Said I'd receive a follow-up email, I didn't.
Hi there, I just want to encourage you to make your concerns heard. Do not let your surgeon bully you into staying quiet. It is your face, your nose. If you are unhappy, then you should pursue a revision. And if you no longer trust your surgeon, go to someone you do trust. I made the mistake of letting my surgeon convince me nothing was wrong with my rhinoplasty results. He kept telling me it would get better, even out, let’s just wait another 3 months, then another 6 months, etc. My nose continued to get even more crooked as the years went by and I regret not standing up for myself. Good luck!
Sorry to hear. For what it’s worth, your nose to a regular observer looks BEAUTIFUL. But you should do whatever you need to to feel good about it. :)
I honestly can't see what was wrong with your original nose. It was stunning.
I looked at all the photos. I enlarged them and really looked at your nose carefully. I think it is gorgeous. I honest to goodness can not see anything wrong. Even when enlarged and I study it. But, like the other lady said, it is your nose and you paid a lot of money to be happy, comfortable and confident. If the doctor is saying give it some time maybe there is something that needs to be improved upon. If that is the case, you need to let him know you are tired of waiting and he needs to address your concerns and give you what you paid for. The older I get the attitude of some surgeons seems condescending and maybe they need to learn to really listen. Good luck! I still think it is a gorgeous nose.
I have been here before. This is exactly why I am looking into revision rhinoplasty. Surgeons just say to wait hoping you will go away. Yes swelling goes down, but your nose isn’t going to straighten itself. My nose looked good at first too and now looks almost exactly like your 1 year post photo. Your nose is still nice. It isn’t bad or very noticeable, but it clearly is not as straight as the first pics. The nostrils are uneven and the tip off to the side a bit.
Don’t let him avoid you. It is unethical.
Thank you for posting and helping me weed this doctor out of my search.

Hi sandiegosurgery,
Thanks for the update. It was some tweaking to your nose. Very minor work since your nose was pretty good in the past. Glad you content with the outcome.
The nose knows!
Looks amazing. Are you still happy? Do you know exactly what was done? DOD you need any grafts?
Did he change your nostrils? I am curious because I'm looking for revision. And you said he did a closed and it looks like the nostril holes are changed. Thanks for any information.

Update

Front and Side. Honestly, I had a great experience. This was a closed rhinoplasty so I have no scars, bruising was minimal. Swelling was crazy in the first week. At first it went down gradually then drastically then gradually again. It’s a rollercoaster of an experience. I think more so because it is a procedure on something right in the middle of your face and you see it everyday in the mirror. My biggest fear was getting a botched nose job. I did a lot of research since I was 15, seven years later, here I am with my dream nose. I had consultations with other surgeons, but none made me feel comfortable enough to go through with it. The consultation with Dr. Hilinski is what sold me. He has a very calming aura. He seems sure of himself and gives you realistic predictions and expectations. The nurse was also really nice! During the process I had times where I felt scared that the result wouldn’t come out as good. Especially with a healing process being so all over the place. The worst part was not being able to breathe which made me uncomfortable when eating so I dropped a few pounds. New nose, new bod ! haha, but really. I definitely recommend going with him, he’s great!! :) I love my nose !!

Greetings sandiegosurgery, Please post before pictures so we can gauge your improvements. Many thanks.
They're up! :)
Looks awesome I think you can swell for up to a year so just know that. My closed took a full year or more but i had a surgeon who was very rough with me
