My incision is healing nicely. Had an appointment with Dr. Pousti and he said that everything looks great and I am free of any complications. He thanked me for traveling a long distance to see him. I am happy. Vanessa was there and she was amazing. She gave me a free t shirt. I am lucky to have this surgery. I waited 6 years for this!!!

I am a little over a month post op. Swelling has gone down a lot more than compared to 2 weeks ago. I am still a little hunched over due to having muscle repair and excess skin removal. Each day I am working on standing a little more upright as my body allows me to. This morning I contacted the office because I had a little concern about my incision line because I had a tiny whitish yellow coloration next to the scab about an 1/8 of an inch. This morning, I phoned the office and spoke to a sweet lady named, Vanessa and she told me to email her the photos of my incision. She told me that she couldn't detect any infection and that she noticed that the scab appears to look open and will eventually peel off on it's own. To ease my worries, she prescribed a 5 day antibiotic in case I needed it. Long story short... I checked my incision and it looks like it's healing. I decided to hold off on taking the antibiotic. Vanessa called me a few hours later to check up on me and asked how I was feeling? I told her that I was better and she was glad to hear that. She told me to keep the antibiotic just in case if I ever do need to take it. So far I am happy about my decision of having this surgery. All of the ladies in the office are so friendly and pleasant to deal with and are very helpful. Having good people like Vanessa there to help you when you have any questions or concerns about your recovery from surgery really makes a huge difference! Thank you Vanessa!!!!!

I am from out of town, 6 hour drive to La Mesa, CA. I was searching for a board certified surgeon who does drainless tummy tuck procedure with good solid muscle repair and also hernia repair; in case I needed a hernia repair. My husband contacted Pousti Plastic Surgery office and a nice lady got Dr. Pousti on the phone to speak to my husband. I was very surprised, he took the time to speak to my husband about the drainless tummy tuck procedure that involves progressive tension sutures. He accommodated both my husband and I, knowing we have 2 special needs children. My results are fantastic! I got a phone call that same evening by Dr. Pousti following surgery. He also phoned my husband to ease his worries while I was recovering from the Alvarado Surgery Center (I don't want to forget...I want to thank Amber from Alvarado Surgery Center for being so kind, helpful, and patient with me after my recovery. THANKS AMBER!!!). Back to Dr. Pousti, he's a very good doctor, hard at work and understanding. The staff at his office are kind, polite, and helpful. During the first two weeks of my recovery I received a phone call from Daisy, Cindi, and Taylor. They made sure everything was good. They are all sweet. Everybody was kind, I felt welcomed. I also want to thank Helen and Margie. At my 3 week post op visit with Dr. Pousti, he mentioned I had no complications at that time. This really means a lot to me because my recovery is extremely important to me as I am the only caregiver to my 2 special needs children. This shows that Dr. Pousti did his job as a double board certified plastic surgeon. So far I am extremely happy with my results and like to give credit to Dr. Pousti and his entire staff. Thank you Dr. Pousti!!
