As an esthetician I understand the skin and how it functions and I have the unique opportunity to treat many clients who have had a facelift. When I do a skin analysis on clients who have had a facelift, I am observant of the length, thickness and location of scars on their face and how their face looks after the surgery. When I made the decision to get a facelift myself, I spent months researching surgeons because with the face there is no room for error and I didn’t want a pulled, stretched look to my face that I have seen all too often and I wanted hidden scars. I choose Dr. Karam after seeing the results of one of his patients one-month post-surgery. I was so impressed with the natural looking results that I made my decision immediately. Dr. Karam’s patient told me that she had a short incision facelift, neck lift, fat transfer and brow lift. She explained that most surgeons just pull the skin taunt to the sides of the face resulting in an unnatural pulled look, but Dr. Karam has innovative procedures that give natural looking results. That was the first facelift I observed one month after surgery that looked incredibly natural as if she stepped into a time machine and went back to 15 years ago. Her face did not look like she had surgery it looked natural, vibrant and youthful.

The result of my fat transfer, short incision facelift, brow, neck and lip lift were none other than amazing. I healed quickly and the procedure has resulted in me looking 15 years younger. I cannot even begin to describe in words how talented Dr. Karam is. He is not only an artist in facial rejuvenation, but he has a great bedside manner, is caring and took the time to answer all my questions, especially clarifying my confusion on the lip lift procedure, he even showed before and after pictures so I could see the results. I opted to do it and I am thrilled I did.

The entire staff at Carmel Valley Aesthetic Center is also very accommodating, caring and a pleasure to engage with. I am so glad I made the decision to have Dr. Karam do my procedure, I felt very comfortable in trusting my face to his expertise and I could not be happier with the results.
