WORTH IT$350
I was very pleased with Dr. Hilinksi's suggestions at my consultation. He suggested electrocautery for a small burst blood vessel on my upper chest, and the "shave" technique for two moles under my eye. The end results are great and I will be coming back for more mole removals in the future. The entire staff is very friendly and Dr. Hilinski seems to really care about getting the perfect result

Welcome to RealSelf and thanks for sharing your experience with us. Did you need local anesthesia for the mole shaving procedure?

yes a few pricks of the syringe to numb the area

Regarding the $350 figure above, what did that pay for? Consultation/first office visit only, or everything, including consultation/first office visit+2 mole shaves+electrocautery for your small burst blood vessel?

Oops sorry I never saw this until just now, but in case anyone else comes upon this, the $350 included everything: consultation, electrocautery, mole shave, and 2 or 3 follow up visits to check the progress of the end result. I think I only had 1 mole shaved though, not 2 like my review says. I had a sunspot in the same area under my eye where the mole was removed, but he said it would be best for me to try over the counter hydroquinone cream to fade it or to look into laser treatment somewhere (he doesn't do lasers). Those creams never work and I still have the sunspot.
