12 Days Post Op
WORTH IT$6,500
So I'm 12 days post op now. Still a lot of dropping is needed and I'm sporting the Sponge Bob Square look but I still love them. One thing I'm concerned about is that one arm pit has a large lump underneath the incision. It's the size of a quarter and fairly tender. I'm also still bruised there when I have no bruises anywhere else left. I called Dr Kearney's office yesterday and was told it's probably scar tissue and to massage it. I really hope it goes away as it's much larger than any kind of scar tissue I thought I'd be feeling.

Day 6 - Stitches Out
Got my stitches out and I'm very happy with how the scars are looking. I thought they were going to look a lot worse than they do! One boob is dropping quicker than the other but that seems to be normal for lots of people. Funny because twice now I've gotten comments from people asking if I'm dyed my hair or something because I'm looking great. Ha NOPE just added some boobs! :-P

Day 2
So I'm really feeling pretty good. No pain. Some tenderness but that's it. Took my daughter to a dance recital (didn't drive though) at a holiday festival and survived that. A little slow to walk. Came home and napped then went out to eat with family. I have pretty much full range of motion as I showered and got myself ready including blow drying my own hair. I do have Frankenstein looking boobs but that's to be expected for now. Swelling and bruising is still pretty intense, too. I was also able to put a bra and shirt over my own head today. It's the little things to get excited about. Ha

Sounds like you are doing great! Does dr Kearney require you to keep your arms by your side I know some surgeons do. Also I see you don't have to wear that horrible strap! I hope I'm feeling like you on day three :)!

No strap and you don't have to keep your arms to your side. When I went to my 24 hour post op appointment they were actually encouraging me to raise my arms higher and higher to gain more motion.
