UPPER ARM LIPO:
Pacific Lipo was hands down one of the best decisions I have EVER made! Their class of services is outstanding! My entire expreience from consultation until now has been so through, timely and of great quality.
PRE- OP:
As an out of town patient, I sent over pictures through their website and I immediately got a call from Stefani, the super sweet front desk lady. She called me in a matter of minutes. We talked a little about my expectations, goals and options. She heard me out and answered all of my questions and concerns. She than sent me an email with lots of info about the procedure, payment options, and dates and times that would work. Everytime we would talk, she would email me a summary of what we talked about as well as any additional information I may need - so very helpful! When I booked my appointment, she even sent me a list of the surrounding hotels and a "group rate code" I could use for a discount. Stafani even checked in on me occasionally to make sure I didn't have any questions.
DAY OF PROCEDURE:
I flew in on Thursday and my appointment was Friday morning. I came into the office with my fiancé. They immediately greeted us and had us fill out some paperwork. Once I completed that, the MA led me into a private room and allowed my fiancé to tag along. She than proceeded to tell me a little more about how the process would go for the day. She asked me to change into a gown and than took my vitals and some pictures. Rod came in shortly after. He was very friendly, professional, and clear about what I should expect. I stood in from on a mirror and he talked to me a little more about the procedure and what he was going to do. Afterwards, the MA led my fiancé into a very comfy room with a recliner and TV for him to wait in. They gave us some snacks to eat before I went into the operation room. The operation room was comfortable and had a TV. They made me covered me with some blankets and gave me the remote control. They also had Pandora playing in the background which I had control over.
The numbing process was a little painful (but not unbearable) but once the numbing process was completed, the lipo itself was a piece of cake. No pain what so ever. It was very reassuring because Rod talked me through what he was doing the entire time. He was patient and asked me how I was doing the entire time. Shortly after, we started chatting about other things and I was completely distracted. I even dosed off a few times. The procedure took about 90 mins(ish). After, the MA came in and wrapped me up and put my compression garmet on. I was sore but not really in pain.
POST-OP:
Afterwards Rod and the MAs answered all of my questions and throughly went over recovery Do's and Don't's. They gave me some medication to take and explained it all. They also gave me some literature to take home with me and encouraged me to call or text, anytime of the day. Rod gave me his personal phone number. I texted him at 10pm that night with a question and he promptly responded. He called me the next day (Saturday) and Sunday to check in with me and see how I was doing. Its been 1 week post op and Pacific lipo team has been texting me and calling to check in. I sent my 1 week post op photos today and my results are FANTASTIC and Im still swollen! I have really enjoyed my experience thus far and know that I will continue to do so as I recover.
