Latisse So Worth It! San Diego, CA

That's so unlikely. I use it, and I know some nurses who have been using it for a long time. I know that none have had any negative side effects from the Bimatoprost.

Just here in realself there one too many who have posted ...the pictures are scary as heck .. Gaunt eyes; loss of fat was the worst others change of eye color but that wasn't as bad as the cadaver look...it just really made me think if this was really worth it in the end if you stop using it they fall out some say they experience more loss than before & they feel brittle .. I hardly have any if they get like that I'll have nothing left :(

Emerg RN for 25 years...I've been using Latisse for over a year now, all of the RNs I know who work in plastics & dermatology offices are long term Latisse users. IMO, some of the negative reviews I've read leave me feeling skeptical. The comments re: eye colour change due to Latisse use for only a few days or a couple of weeks are puzzling. Also, my understanding of eye colour change is that irregular, isolated areas of pigmentation, ( ie brown ) could occur rather than a profound, overall, uniform, symmetrical colour change to the entire iris of both eyes. This would not support the theory that one's eye colour changed from blue to green, ( again, this is my understanding ) Eyelash enhancement is non essential, right? Using any agent for cosmetic reasons, requires measuring the risks against the benefits. There is a great deal of info & a good explanation of the potential side effects on the Latisse website. Make an informed decision based on how important the desired outcome is to you. I use Latisse regularly , fully aware of the potential for side effects to develop.

One more thing....Buying Latisse knockoffs or counterfeit Latisse off the Internet is seriously scary! Stuff coming from unregulated sources is simply dangerous! You don't know what ingredients are included in some concoction produced in heaven knows where. If you're using such a product, you've got a lot more to worry about than possible colour change ... You could very well be risking your sight!

I'd like to say that a lot of times, it seems there are more negative reviews because people tend to complain more than praise. NOT that their experiences aren't valid, but this is the #1 surgery/treatment review site so the stats can be skewed. I think that if you are at all hesitant, then I would pass... you never want to do anything that you fell sketchy about. I am on my 2nd week and have no side effects but time will tell. Either way, I am not worried as I already have brown eyes so if there were an affect, I wouldn't be able to tell. I am so confident in it that I have already bought a 90 day supply on top of my 60 day supply I got 2 weeks ago. Everyone I have personally talked to and seen results on are amazing. I'm not trying to talk anyone into it though, lol. Also, I personally will not purchase off brands, only Latisse as it is the only one that is FDA approved.

DON'T WORRY about the side effects! I am a worry freak as well but I ended up doing it and i'm so happy with results! just give it a try one tip I think helped is that I am very clean about it! I wash my face and clean my eyes very well apply then apply it

The side effects don't just come from using the generic brand .. There is a chain of people on realself who have had terrible damaging side effects due to orbital fat loss atrophy some slightly return to normal others no change & were left to have no choice put get surgery from the devastating effects.. l. Latisse/Careprost Made my Eyes Sunken & Hollow (Periorbital Fat Atrophy)! - Los Angeles her name is EllenGS on her post people are coming out from left to right telling their experiences.. They are not the only ones sadly I seen another cluster of many more.:/

Just realized this was here ... I would like to try the Biotin ... been reading about it but haven't been able to find any info regarding a specific dose ...if you get the chance, could you please let me know what ( brand ) & how much you're taking? Thanks :)

I take the highest dose possible for people who have biotin deficiency... Honestly I don't see a difference in growth the hair on my head or my eyelashes .. I just take it in hope ..

Yes! I have older pictures on my old phone ill upload them tomorrow! Honestly I started seeing results like 3 weeks later BUT I did not miss a day! I was consistent with my applications and even if I got lazy some nights I would set alarms to remind me. :) I only apply it once a week now because I don't want to use it daily so i'll see if they fall off.

good to know. I get lazy too and I missed 1 night but did it the next am early and again late that night.
