Congratulations on the weight loss! That is fantastic!

Your facelift makes you look a lot younger, too.

Well it was a five year plan. Started with my grandson being born. I was 54. Time too make some decisions about life and quality of life. First plan was to quit smoking. After 40 years of smoking, and many attempts, I quit. It was all in the head. Once I got off that addiction, I pretty much knew I could accomplish anything. So it's almost 6 years, I was 364, on ten different meds. From c.o.p.d. to blood thiners, water pills, heart pills, puffers, oxygen, cane, ect. Turned it all around, very good health, no pills, but a lot of 'extra skin'. So after 6 years of hard work, I started treating myself, only My treats are the skin removal!

Good for you! From all the money you have saved from prescriptions and not smoking you can have a lot of things done (or travel - my favorite).

That's the plan! Travel! I'm retired from u.a.l. the only benefit I received after 31 years is flying.

My after pictures are very soon after surgery. I'm still swollen and sore (numb), but this gives you an idea.

update on arms

It's the little things that you don't think of until you experience the moment. When I was -350+ I couldn't do a simple thing like file my toe nails. When I did loose the weight, I really appreciated being able to do those little things. As time passed, those chores became routine, but I was really annoyed with file motion, back and forth, back and forth, quick short motion, the skin on my arms would just flap back and forth, so very annoying! Well, I just filed my nails and after surgery from Dr Larry and me working the muscles, there was no wiggle! No flapping! Now I can where short sleeve shirts again! It's only been since Aug 14, and I feel like my arms are like 30 years younger. :) Can't put a price on that. So if your worried about the cost, when it's over and done, instead of driving that new car I thought I'd be driving, I'm Downgrading to a scooter, and paying the money to MYSELF! Ha ha

So exciting for you. So, you had a face lift and arm lift? Or did you have more done? Good for you. Looks like you will have really good results.

I did face and arms in one shot. Not recommended, but Dr made me his only patient that day, and would only do it if I agreed to overnight stay, which I did. So now, since I am so very pleased with my Dr. I have scheduled a 'mommy makeover' as I call it. Tummy tuck, muscle repair, Lipo for the love handles. That will be end of January. Along with exercise and a little weight training, it's all comming together. Thank goodness for care credit. Pretty good deal. I had a year to pay with no interest, but I am so happy and excited about progress, I send every extra dime to them. Plan to have the last procedure paid, before I do next one and so on.
