Breast Reduction - San Diego, CA

It has now been just over 2 months and I am very grateful that my breast reduction has reduced my upper back pain. I do still have some swelling that hasn't totally gone away & they are still a little tender when hugging. However, the scars are healing very nicely. I did have my stomach muscles repaired at the same time due to them being damaged after having a C-Section to have my son (who is now 24 yrs. old). It is taking a little longer to heal & also getting my energy level back to where I use to be. I detail cars & clean places for a living so I am very physical. It can be a little frustrating at times that I wear out quickly. The repair to my stomach muscles has helped to decrease my lower back pain.

I am very grateful to Dr. Pousti & his staff. They are all very helpful. He even helped me when I wasn't sure about my incision & how open it was, he brought another patient to talk to me who had the same issue. It really helped to relieve some stress I felt in my healing process. I found that it also really helped my healing process to have a positive attitude.

I started off at a full size D and went down to a size B. I ended up much bigger after becoming pregnant. I waited to have done after raising my son all on my own. I am a young healthy 51 yr. old and got tired of living with so much pain in my upper back. I did make my decision quickly, was nervous right before. I am glad I did it. I am really thankful for all the support of the office as well as the Dr.

I wanted to have done due to upper back pain every day due to breasts being too heavy after having my son, couldn't lose weight there. Surgery wasn't too painful, recovery is going well & am healing nicely. I am happy with the size, how the scars are healing & looking. It does take time to get back to every day things.
