8 months post-op. Recovery went well with constant attention and concern from the staff at Dr. Pousti's office. I now have the image I requested thanks to a qualified, experienced, & skilled plastic surgeon. One of my implants was ruptured which could have caused numerous medical complications had I not made the decision to have the surgery which further convinced me that the procedure served as a medical necessity as well as the desire to feel and look better.

My family motivated me to seek help for my 35 yr. old encapsulated implants from an initial surgery of Bilateral Mastectomy for DCIS. Until I consulted with Dr. Pousti I was ready to give up and learn to live with the discomfort of mis-shapen, hardened breasts . Hugging people, sleeping, and clothes shopping had become a challenge. Not to mention my fav bikini was archived because of my embarassing body image. Dr. Pousti's confidence in his work impressed me as well as his caring, patient mannerism, and attention to detail.

Well done! I too have lost both my breasts to cancer. I’m not quite sure about my reconstruction, but I’m only 5months out. Congratulations on valuing yourself and keeping yourself looking good. Age has nothing to do with it. Well done !
