Deflated Mom Breasts Restored with Sientra Gummy Bears - San Diego, CA

WORTH IT
I was a natural 32DD but after 4 pregnancies & 30 months of nursing my breasts were nothing but sagging empty sacks of thin skin. My confidence was gone & I was uncomfortable with my own husband looking at me naked. I opted to do something about it. I researched every option & spoke with at least 10 different doctors. Because of Dr. Marin I have my breasts & confidence back.
Together we decided to go with the textured Sientra implants to reduce the risk of rippling (due to my thin skin) & displacement (one of my fears with implants). Four months post-op I have no rippling. My breasts are still pretty firm but they are continually softening.
We opted to go with the donut lift to restore a perky position & with minimal scarring. This was the perfect option. My scars are very faint & barely noticeable. Dr. Marin also reduced my areolas to look more youthful & proportionate.
We went with 350cc & 375cc (different sizes because as Dr. Marin noticed one rib cage protrudes slightly more than the other) implants. I was worried about the implants being too large but I went with Dr. Marin & my husbands suggestions & I am very glad I did. They fit my frame perfectly.
As for recovery, I followed the doctor's orders & waited the full 6 weeks before lifting my kids or exercising. But I was back on my feet & getting out & about by day 3. I had limited mobility & use of my arms (as to be expected from such a surgery) for a few weeks. But all in all, it really wasn't bad & I would do it again.
I love my new figure. It amazes me how little I think about my body now that I have a body I am confident & happy with.

Hello I found your blog of particular interest because you appear to be the same size as me and my breast are like yours pre op. Could you please tell me what a donut lift is? Did you have a breast lift as well as the implants or is the name of the occurring lift due to the implants alone. Also did you have high profile or moderate plus profile. I want to go for the same size cc you have in moderate plus but the Plastic surgeons I talked to don't want to use anything higher than a 270cc because of my chest size and breast diameter but I have seen lots of women my size and smaller have bigger gummy bear implants than what I have been recommended.
The donut is a type of lift. It's when the surgeon cuts all the way around the aeriola (like a donut) to tighten the skin. Most of the doctors I spoke to said I would need a lollipop (when the doctor cuts all the way around the aerial & another line down-like a lollipop) but Dr. Marin was able to give me the perfect amount of lift without the additional scarring. The gummy bear implants come in round or shaped (not high or moderate profile), I have the round implants. As for size, I would say go larger. They definitely look smaller once they are in. Try to find a doctor that listens to you & that you can feel comfortable with. Best of luck!
Thank you for replying. The info was helpfull.
You look amazing!!!!!
How tall are you? I am getting 375cc gummy bear and I am trying to figure out what bra size I will be
I am 5'6" & I'm now a 32DD.
I am also 5'6" and also nursed for about total 3 years - my boobs are wrecked but I still haven't decided on the cc yet... What's your weight? And what size were you before the procedure? Do you have any neck or back pain from the procedure?

Thanks for sharing your story, and your photos. I'm glad to see you're happy with your results. You look great! What was the biggest concern you had about the procedure?
That's really great to hear. I think with elective procedures many people tend to not realize how major this surgery is, and how important it is to do the research and find a doctor that you can trust. I'm glad you found someone who worked for you!
