I can ditch the surgical bra! My final follow-up is next week and everything is feeling great. I’ve had a couple days of soreness after sleeping hard on my side and also after traveling since I was lifting small bags, but otherwise I don’t notice the implants. I am still taking it easy until the doctor officially clears me. I’m wearing a 30DD in these photos. The sports bra in the last post is a 32C, but the wires gave me a little bruise on the side. I have a 32D that fits although it’s not as snug as the 30. I’m not sure what size I’ll end up since I still have a lot of changes. The 30DD is right at the edge of my nipples, but I’m not going to bother getting a different size right now. If I had smaller nipples I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue ;) Still loving my results. Different than the previous implants in every way!! My left is still bigger. I don’t know it that will change. Honestly I think the only way to correct that would be to use different profile implants, not volume, since my chest wall being higher on one side seems to make the difference rather than one boob actually being bigger. Either way I can live with it. The different volume implants last time (304ccL/339ccR) was so obvious and my left still looked bigger up top, just narrower. ANYWAY I love my new boobs!!

Looking good!! I love the shape and the size of your boobs. I'm glad you're finally happy with the results. I can't really notice the asymmetry you've mentioned, but it's only been 6 Weeks. I'm sure they will even out and become exactly what you wanted as they settle. Best wishes. ❤

Thank you very much. I do wonder what the result could have been had I not experienced any complications the first time, but there really is no sense in thinking like that. As long as they stay nice and high like this I’ll be happy! My biggest fear is they will bottom out, but I should be ok by this point!

I'm so glad it has worked out for you this time around. At what point in the first recovery period did they bottom out on you? How long did you wait to do the revision? Did you do the revision with your original plastic surgeon? It all must have been unbelievably stressful. I feel for you. You look fantastic now thankfully.

Thank you very much. It has been stressful and obsessive at times. I can’t wait to reach 1 year and really not think about them changing anymore haha. I’d have to say pre-revision at 1 month the changes were starting. They still looked ok, but too much bottom fullness. By month 5 I was devastated. I waited 1 year 3 months to revise after speaking with my original surgeon again and coming to a mutual understanding. I did research other surgeons and considered going to them, but I would not have gone through with revision at $8000+. My first doctor offered a significant discount, upgraded implants, and mesh support. He is a great surgeon and I can’t blame him for what happened.

I wish you continued good luck this time around. I totally agree with you wishing to already be a year out, so you can stop stressing and know that it will all be o.k. I wish the same for myself. I am a natural worrier.

Things are progressing well. My biggest concern now is supporting the implant. The crease is holding well, but I don't want the implant to fall over it rather than stay high. Can anyone suggest a good bra? I bought the Victoria's Secret knockout on amazon for much cheaper than in the store. It's a great bra! But I would like something that's not racetrack also. I still think everything looks way better regardless. My left breast is definitely bigger (it was naturally). Hopefully they even out a little more. I'm very happy and can't wait to move around a little more!

You look great! I had my BA yesterday. I was choosing between the 345 SRM and 280 SRLP and I went with the 280's. I have seen so many women with smaller frames like ours struggle with the size and rippling at 345 and 360, I was way too afraid to go that big. Every time I wore the sizer it just felt like so much boob. I definitely understand boob greed. Once you have them you know you "could have" gone bigger, but I'm so happy with my results. I just wish the pain wasn't so bad!!

congratulations! Low plus looks great on a lot of women despite it not being the norm. I do have a funny bone structure so I think the full helps mask it a little. The heavier implants do increase the risk of rippling/bottoming out. I'd definitely wise to go larger later rather than sooner if that's what you want.

Hey hope all is well, i dont think you mentioned who your surgeon was ? It would be really helpful as iam looking for a surgeon for a revision. thanks

I’ll send you a pm! I actually live somewhere other than my profile says... just in case ;) lol

Hi, you look fabulous. I am also getting a revision and would love to know who your surgeon is. Could you PM me as well? Thank you!

Would you say the recovery this time around was better or the same or worse? I had my boobs done on June 1 and although its only been a few weeks my PS did 210 on one side and 255 on the other. So one boob is fuller and to me its noticable and driving me crazy. Considering re doing it and maybe going the same size in both but wasnt sure if I want to deal with the recovery all over again. Dr says I have to wait 6 months anyway. I think you look great by the way.

recovery was both easier and harder! very different experience. the first time I felt like my chest was heavy, strained from stretching to accommodate the implant, and I recognized the implant is foreign. it was hard getting used to the feeling. this time, I did feel the pain of the internal stitching since I had mesh put in. swelling was still pretty bad, but not nearly as bad as last time. this time it has been more draining being sooo careful not to ruin my results and also the emotional worry! you are still very early out of surgery. I think in time you will a) not notice the difference and b) accept the small differences you do notice. breasts are truly sisters not twins. even mine are uneven in the opposite way now! my left is bigger whereas my right was bigger before. focus on your shape and know that if you have a good result, you might not be so lucky to heal the same way next time. for me it was obviously worth the risk because i was so way bottomed out. I felt alien. and now I feel normal and love my results!
July 13, 2018
What are you worried about? I didn’t understand your statement. Your breasts will not fall, & they are looking great! I got mine done over 10 years ago & they are still holding up & looking great. Mine & yours look exactly alike; the teardrop shape which looks the most natural. I have Bali bras with no padding & underwired. It is always good to not wear anything at night.

Well I had complications the first time and my implants slid past my crease. since I had the capsulorraphy to raise my implants back up and support the crease, I have been very worried about experiencing the same complication. it’s important for me to wear a tight band to help scar tissue form at the crease and also to not strain myself which could rip internal stitching. I am afraid of my implant hanging over the crease this time rather than sliding down. as you can see on other women and even my own experience for the first time the implant does not have much of a bottom crease, rather it stays flatter against the bottom. however, this is my second go and my creases have been reformed, and I definitely notice I have more of a “fold” than before. I just want to make sure I support them as much as possible up to the 6 week mark! after that, scar tissue should have formed and I can resume a more normal lifestyle... and ditch this ugly bra!!! lol but I will likely still have to wear a bra 24/7 for 6 months

Things are going great. I loveeee them so far. They are still sore and work definitely is more difficult, but I bartend at a country club so it can be more physical than an office setting. I just need to take it easy! And I have been considering this is round 2. Everyone at work has been helpful (ice, kegs, trays etc) without my having to explain.

I'd call round 2 a success. I'm happy for you. I hope this trend continues for you,

Thanks! it is very nerve wracking trying to keep the problem from reoccurring. I judge every move I make! But I think in the end they will be just fine
