Looks great and I appreciate the pictures. How many days did you have visible recovery (bandage, bruising, etc.). How long before you could go back to work? Last, did it take inches off of your neck?

Thank you. I didn't experience really any bruising or pain. The bandages were to cover 3 tiny incisions, two behind the ears and one under the chin, so not noticeable. I decided to go back to work one week after surgery. While I wasn't in any pain whatsoever, you need to wear the chin strap 24/7 the first week and I wasn't going to go to work like that. I didn't measure actual inches, so I do not know. What I can tell you is I don't get sweat collecting between my chin and neck like I used to when I was sitting on the couch watching tv. And while no one ever said anything, I know my general appearance is younger which is what I was going for primarily. My doctor told me he could make things 55 to 65% improved but I think it is really more like 80% improved. The healing takes 6 months so I may still see some improvements.

Still Remain Very Happy With My Chin Lipo Results

What I've learned over the last five weeks since the surgery is that the skin under my chin continues to tighten and look better. There are lumps under my chin created by scar tissue and these are also slowing diminishing, but it is a slow process and requires patience. I had a meeting with my surgeon this past week and he told me it will only continue to improve so I'm banking on that. Since the surgery, my profile does show a small bump under the chin created by this lump but he has assured me this will slowly improve. I'm excited to see this. Overall I am very very pleased.

Looks good! Howling did you wear your chin strap? I had the same procedure and could only tolerate the chin strap for 5 straight days, then about 8 hours a day for another week during the day time only. I could not sleep with the chin strap on. My double chin has diminished, but still not “flat” looking. It’s only been 3 weeks for me.

I wore the strap solid for 7 days. Yes, it was annoying but I wanted the best result since I was dumping some serious money into the procedure. I started to wear the strap only at night for another week or two. I didn't find sleeping with it annoying or uncomfortable.

Good for you! You look great. Well, I am wearing my strap now, while I office at home. I’m hoping to continue to wear it during the day time for a few hours each AM and PM for a few more weeks. Hopefully that will make up for the inability to sleep with it on.
