I got a mommy makeover (mini tummy tuck and breast aug) 2 years ago. I feel that I am in great shape just needing a few touch ups to be what i want. I love to workout, but lately I have not had the time to be as active as I want. I think I could get the results I want with working out I just don't the hours to do it. Pre-op day!!!!!
It's 7 am here and Cali and I feel so out of it. My pre-op is today at 1030. I'm so excited to meet dr brown and his staff. I will post more later!
TODAY WAS THE DAY!!!!
I went in today and had smart lipo with Dr. Brown. When I arrived i was greeting his wonderful staff. Right now the only name I can remember is Alexander, but both ladies were really welcoming and answering my 101 questions. They never seemed annoyed by all of my question. While waiting I took 2 Percocet( and 2 xanax (3 of each by the start). I ended needing an extra xanax as my tolerance is pretty high with those. We did some before and after photos with Dr. Brown. I loved this time as it gave me more time to speak about the procedure and my expectations. Dr. Brown is very honest. I asked about adding another area and he told me it would have little results. I liked that he was honest and not just telling me ok to get my money.
Ok so moving to the procedure: Dr. Brown drew the lines on me and explained why they were in some place and not other. Th numbing was not painful at all. I was expecting a lot worse. The procedure it self was not very painful either. I was rate it a 2. There were a couple of times it went up to 5. But really it was bad.
I ended up doing my lower "back fat" and this small area of my lower frontal stomach. I believe he got about 100cc from here and the rest was in my flanks. Total we got about 525-550 cc. Dr. Brown explained that this was a lot from my frame and I would notice much improvement.
After the procedure I felt great! I was so happy calling everyone on the phone. However, as soon as I made it back to the hotel I was hit with a huge wave of nausea! I throw up and went straight to sleep. When I woke up about 4 hours later there was a little puddle of blood. I knew this could happen, but it still caught me off guard.
Now I am going to talk a little walk to a store and get water. Then most likely come back and sleep!!
Current pain level : 0-2 (i have been taking pain meds)
Sleepiness: 9-10
I will update 1 day post op!!
