Week Four Update
I still have swelling, especially at the end of the workday, but I am so incredibly happy with my progress and my results! Dr. Lawton has been amazing. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow. :)

So much of one's life is spent thinking about how their actions impact others and whether or not they should take some time for themselves. There is no place for guilt when improving your self esteem
The Drains are OUT!!!
I went in yesterday to get the second of my drains out. The central drain, that was causing me the most pain, was actually looking like it was getting an infection, so he went ahead and took out both drains. It was better than Christmas!
I do have some basic wound care to work on with my drainage openings, but I felt amazing. Of course, along with feeling amazing, I was way too active yesterday. That kept me in bed for most of this morning. I need to constantly remind myself to take it easy and let my body heal.

Football Day!
It is very weird not to have some beer during the games, but no drinking for me for awhile!
I haven't tried on any "real clothes" since my surgery. I just tried on one of my college shirts tjat was a gift, that I love, and that has always been my muffin top nightmare. Even with two drains still in and lots of swelling....whoa, do I feel amazing!
