Day 6 after breast Aug./ tummy tuck

Don't expect to be right back on your feet and one of my faves is don't try to be the hero! Which is particularly hard for me. Being a multiple business owner and having 5 kids I thought the rest would be easy & welcomed, boy was I wrong! It was & is so hard for me to just lay down but essentially I know it will only prolong my recovery. So ladies about to go under get mind ready for a week of rest, more like 10 days of layin down with gettin walks around your house for excitement. Also have plenty of supplies handy like gauze for you leak tubes because man when you need them you need em! Water with lemon is amazing and plenty of soup for easy BM's trust me! Oranges as well and lots of water, stay hydrated. All in all I feel fine but I'm gettin antsy at the lay down part :(

Day 3 after tummy tuck / breast Aug.

A couple things i must say, omg constipation! Get some milk of magnesia or some form of laxative to ease your struggle lol because pushing is a big no no. Also even if your groggy or tired get up and walk around the house preferably with a walker like every other hour if you can starting from the night of surgery or if your surgery was late the next day. I was lucky enough to stumble on a hospital bed real cheap but if you can't do this have some one help you in & out of bed, no pushing! Even if you feel you can it's the meds talking & you'll only hurt your amazing new belly! I sleep a lot but when I get if I'm hungry I'll have an orange & water with lemon is a must. Oh and my favorite phrase "don't be a hero" let your loved ones take care of you at least for the first couple days!

most amazing experience ever!

Up to the morning of I literally was so unafraid it was weird, like I waited long enough! Going to the building early morning was beyond pleasant Dr. Young's staff was so beautifully accommodating it was almost a milky dream during prep. Lastly Dr. Young came in so wonderfully nice and calm as he took his time to answer any last minute questions and draw on my incision lines. He helped my law down and said are your ready? I wanted to cry as I said ive been waiting for this day im beyond ready! NO joke or over-exaggerating in saying it woke up and it was done and it literally almost pain free. Now mind you I have a fairly high tolerance for pain but still id give a 3 on the pain level due to Dr. Young's staff and the anesthesiologist, very professional & knowledgeable and with over 35 years experience im proof he's definitely in the right profession. NExt day I have mild aches but I cant believe it went so well and I fell fine. I very little broth last night for dinner with some oranges and oatmeal with apples for breakfast with some decaf coffe. Its obviously hard to walk so rented a walker and I bought a hospital bed real cheap. One thing if you have the funds try to rent a hospital & walker, so worth it so your not a hunchback for the first week or so depending on your dr ofcourse. I also received a breast aug, which is also lovely and equally worth it Im still fairly swollen so I cant really tell but I can say I feel lighter and quickly am recovering with all the proper vitamins and meds the dr has prescribed (included in pricing) I can say so far so good. Im heading back to my hospital bed to get some rest (very important) I'll check in periodically thank you ladies!
