3 month mark!
Howdy! Well, I'm a few days past my three month mark and wanted to give y'all an update! So the boobs are great! No pain, nothing weird at all and they look really natural which I love! The belly... Looking flat but still a huge amount of swelling. It's frustrating but I know it will go away one day! My belly button has been super red and not really healing the way I (and my doc) would like. He gave me a steroid shot in my belly to see if that would help... It did nothing! So in the mean time I ran out of the prescription scar cream and started using cocoa butter. I wasn't near as diligent about it and I didn't put it on for a whole weekend. On Sunday I realized my belly button was not near as red. Not putting two and two together, I put on the cocoa butter... Immediate redness!! So needless to say, I have stopped everything to see if the redness will subside. Other than that I am doing great! I am almost 100% back at crossfit and I did a couple of kipping pull ups today and it felt awesome! I'm still staying away from sit-ups and I think I probably will forever!! 2 month post op update!
Welp..2 months already! Crazy! Things are great! Boobies have dropped and look totally natural (I think)! I love that they are not too 'in your face'... Very subtle! As far as my tummy goes, still lots of swelling and I'm so over it! In the mornings I look super flat. Hopefully that is how I will end up! These pics were taken at night. I recently had a major allergy attack and have been sneezing and coughing like crazy! I must have irritated something because every time I cough I hurt! Anyways... Hope everyone is healing well!! Finally took off the tape... It started falling off a little at almost 5 weeks so the doc said to go ahead and take it off. He said the longer it stays on, the prettier the scar so I wanted to leave it as long as possible! Now I'm using the scar cream four times a day. The scar is really straight and doesn't bulge much... So happy with my results!!!
