Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

5 months(second surgery)

So after my second surgery I notice better results, when it comes to my back that is. There is not much diffrence when it comes to my abdomen. In my five month follow up I was told its just extra skin and my genetics. That I can never look the way I want to. When initially I was told it was possible to get close to my goal. It just doesn't feel like extra skin to me and my lower stomach is uneven. I thought liposuction was a way to reshape your body but I guess I was wrong. After having two surgeries and a 20,000 blood work bill that the lab tried to charge to my insurance ( which Doctor Lawton did take care of ) I wish I would of went somewhere else.

Having reasonable expectations is critical to achieving a good outcome. At the consultation, pictures are reviewed, expectations are discussed and surgical possibilities are defined. Communication is continued with online platforms and printed educational materials. Sometimes perceptions get in the way of reality. Even free revision surgeries cannot change unrealistic expectations.

3 months

So I'm still unsatisfied with my results but Dr. Lawton has been working with me to make sure I am happy with the way I look and I'm sure in the end I will. I wanted to feel good about myself by the summer because I'm 24 and have never worn a two piece, so with that said I will have touch up surgery in May :) and I added a wish pic
