Upper and Lower Bleph, LOVE THE RESULTS - San Antonio, TX

I started noticing sagging skin, eyes, wrinkles about 2 years ago. When I looked in the mirror, I saw an old women. So, I started with lasers and expensive creams. I know, these are for a different review but just sharing my journey. I had genesis laser once a month for a year. I had the pearl fractional laser around my mouth and ultherapy on face and neck. I was told the ultherpy would give me great lift on my eyes and really reduce the one lower eye bag. It didn't and cost 4000. When looking at before and after pics of the laser treatments, there was no visible difference. I wanted to just tighten up my face and eyes and not have anything so drastic that I would just look different or weird. So, I went to my consult with Dr. Decherd. He did my tummy tuck previously so I already trusted him to tell me honestly what he could do and what results were realistic. The surgery was approx 3 hours. I woke up and my eyes burned. The nurse quickly gave me pain meds and said that was a common complaint. Got home and rested, took my meds on schedule and put in eye drops. They were very soothing. My vision was blurry for about a week. No pain really to speak of after the first day. My eyes looked scary but it really didn't hurt. My eyes didn't heal at the same rate. That worried me a bit. The eye with the lower bag healed fast and fine. The other one, much slower. It's been 2 months and that one is still slightly bruised. About 3 weeks after was when my eyes looked really distorted. I don't know why. One of my lower lids drooped more than the other. I knew from reading reviews on this site that it was to soon to see the real results but it still worried me. I went to the Dr. for a post op appointment, He said I looked great! So, it's been 2 months now and my best friend came for a visit over the 4th. She said, you look great! She didn't know about the surgery, I wanted an honest reaction from her. I finally asked if I looked any different to her and she said no. So I told her and showed her the before and after pics. She was amazed and said I look refreshed but totally like myself. She would have never known. Yay! I'm so happy with the results. Dr. Decherd is the best!
