Ok by the Good Grace of God, we have an explanation from my Dr. Lawton Post Op Appointment today 12/14/2016, Surgery Breast Implant Removal 12/13/2016
Dr Lawton says it's uncommon in some cases like mine to really have a good explanation of what went wrong
Here's what "CAUSED MY Situation"

DX: Right Breast Augmentation Cellulitis Abscess

Plastic Surgeon
I Elected "Adjustable" Breast Augmentation Implants
2010 procedure performed @ Nix Hospital. Ports Implanted. Post op follow ups in his office.
Post Op follows ups in 3 different sessions.
Wherein the nurse/assistant
sticks a needle in your port and then attaches a tube to inflate or deflate the implant. 3rd session you lock in what size you feel Most confident and most comfortable with and DONE, complete.
And with DR JENEBY I mean HE IS DONE once the money and work is done.
So, one of my breasts appeared to have bottomed out, but eventually went away.
The sloshing of saline when I bent over was annoying...everyday I looked in mirror I thought to myself what the hell? Never satisfied. Whole reason I did this was because I was involved in a head on collision in 2007 suffered injuries causing substantial weight loss etc etc.
Here we are 7 years later, but two weeks ago I felt pain in my kidney area it moved up to below my Right breast. I have been feeling fatigue more and more but I just figured it was all due to no real good sleep. The pain just worsened in Rt Breast and was with fever. I went to Dr Jeneby on a Tuesday and he said that I have "Capsular Contracture" that it's rare he has this but that it does happen. Dr Jeneby
Asked if I was right handed and wrote a lot? Causing those muscles to be over used contributing to the problem.
He Asked if I wanted 1) Massage w/Meds 2) Removal and Redo 3) Removal
THEN asked if I needed ANESTHESIA or if I wanted to be awake!? Wth!!!
Anyways, gave me 2)$8000 3)$3500 quotes.
I walked on. Nobody cared to follow up from his office to see what I decided on or if I was doing ok with the pain...
Tuesday-Friday I was so drained, and FRIDAY, before work I had ALL OVER BODY FEVER, before I went to work.
My body was on fire, but I pushed through and went to work...I was foggy minded too...got better throughout the nightshift and into Saturday morning I was talked into ER visit.
I went to Methodist Metropolitan Dwntwn SA ER they ran blood tests and ultra sound. They prescribed me antibiotics and pain meds. Treat and released to find a Dr of my choice ASAP.
(Old school stuff nothing of effective power)
December 12, this Monday morning called and Dr Lawton fit me in. Dr Lawton was familiar with me bc I had seen him sometime after Dr Jeneby surgery and he suggested a redo, that they needed to be taken out immediately and be redone by him.
This was maybe a year maybe after Dr Jeneby. I didn't take up Dr Lawtons advice. Afterall, I JUST paid $5,500 cash for the AdjustableBreast Aug
and Dr Lawton would be $7k-$8k for a redo.
I rocked along thinking I could live it off
Well apparently not, the implants were contaminated and have haunted and lived in me for 7 years breeding infection.
Cause---------
Dr Lawton found that Dr Jeneby
going in to the breast ports to inflate or deflate was unsanitary and even though they clean the area, it wasn't good enough and contaminated me at some point during those 3 sessions. Always risky continuing to tamper with an open wound. Should do one time then left alone to heal cleanly.
This was what happened and 7 years later my implant RUPTURED and was leaking, scar tissue, It was worn thin and had mold/bacteria grown inside it....since sometime after date of surgery with Dr. Jeneby.
For 7 years my body has been fighting off this infection.
It had finally ruptured I don't know when but it did and since I've worn myself thin, my body could not fight it any longer with very little rest I've given my body....this has really taken a toll on me. God has surely fought on my side.
Conclusion:
The Implant (Mentor)
Is giving me another set of implants and $1200-$2400 back because it ruptured.
Ugh I'm tired now....

My goodness, I am in complete awe of what you have endured for all of these years!, I developed an infection and ultimately hsd to have my implant removed. My doc did everything he could to save it before we had no choice. I will have it replaced in February. I totally understand what you mean when you say how grateful you are for your doc!!!! I too have an absolutely amazing doc and am so grateful for catching it in time, doing all he could to save me the grief of waljing around with one implant but is committed to providing me with the best care and sticking with me until I am good as new. Thank you for sharing your story. I've been having a bad couple of days and reading your story has really helped♡♡♡.

I also had implants by Dr. JENEBY IN MARCH 2016. I also feel heat and one breast implant falls to my armpit since the.morning of surgery and Is hard and my folds under both breast the crease has gotten worse and worse and he acts as if he doesnt see it he never has fully examined me since surgery or tried to even feel my implants to feel the hardness I'm trying to explain.. I'm so disappointed and now I feel pain in that breast with hardness..
