Results absolutely exceeded my expectations. Dr. Baumholtz does amazing work. I met with a few physicians before my initial meeting with Dr. Baumholtz and by the end of our visit I was sure that I wanted him to be my surgeon. Of course I had researched everything heavily prior to my visits, and knew all of the positives and negatives to breast augmentation. I was a little apprehensive because I didn't know what to expect and the internet has a way of reporting the worst of the worst and freaking people out. All of those fears subsided after my consultation with Dr. Baumholtz. He was open, honest, supportive, and extremely non-judgmental. I have always been extremely into fitness and love to run. I have a lithe frame and a small chest runs in my family -I've never been able to wear anything bigger than a small B. When I made my decision to get a breast augmentation it was mine alone and Dr. Baumholtz helped me achieve a natural, feminine look. The initial planning phase of the experience was great- he took me through all my options for implants, sizes, and procedure details. I felt informed and knew exactly what was going to happen every step of the way. His patient care coordinator took care of all the payment information and details so it was the most stress-free process.
The actual procedure was great- I literally felt no pain. The facility he uses (Forest Park) makes you feel like you are staying in an upscale hotel. Dr. Baumholtz visited me before the procedure and re-explained the plan. He answered all of my questions (I had a lot because I work in the medical field and tend to freak out about surgery) and also talked with my mother who flew in to make sure I had a smooth recovery.
The healing process took about 6 weeks, the first week was spent sleeping and taking it easy. Pain medication was my friend- and it took a few days of sleeping and watching movies to get back into the swing of things. I was able to return to work the following week and had to be careful pushing and pulling heavy objects but I was able to stop taking my intense pain medication after about a week and a half. After that my chest just felt sore (like after a really hard workout) for a couple weeks but it was definitely manageable.
I wouldn’t change anything about my experience- It was 100% worth it!

Dr. Baumholtz is extremely personable and made me feel comfortable immediately. He is patient-focused and did an amazing job taking the time to explain my options, the procedure, and my recovery. The morning of my surgery he made sure to include my family at my request and he kept them up to date throughout. He even called me himself the night after surgery to see how I was recovering. He made sure that my pain was always under control and that my recovery went smoothly. His office staff is also wonderful - they were accommodating, non-judgmental, and I felt comfortable every time I went in.
