I am post op week 2 after an extended arm lift. I have had very minimal pain, just sore under my arms and I am healing GREAT! I wear my compression garment day and night, just remove it to shower.

I did purchase an extra one so I could wear one while one was being washed. Super happy with my results and I am only 2 weeks out so I am looking forward to the healing stages ahead! Ill add photos later!

Hi there, welcome and thanks for sharing your experience with us. I'm glad everything went well during your surgery! If you don't mind sharing, did you need an arm lift because of weight loss, or just general sagging, etc?

I had an arm lift for both reasons. I lost 50 lbs over the last year or so, however since I can remember I have always tended to carry weight in my arms. As I got older I noticed sagging, it's genetic runs in my family, the saggy bat wings even with a normal weight. Anyhow I lift weights and build muscle but the sagging got worse for some reason. No more sagging!!!! YAY!

Wow, your after pics look awesome! You must be really pleased with the outcome so far. The scar also looks really good at the moment, that's definitely a great outcome!

Hi! I’m getting an arm lift on 4-10-19. Do you have any good tips to have a smooth healing like yours. Any creams that you recommend to put on the scars to diminish the appearance? For how many weeks did you use the tape & then what week did u switch to silicone pads & for how long? Also, what brand of silicone do you recommend?

I am now 4 going on 5 weeks post and I am DELIGHTED with my arms. My scar looks great! It is flat, small and I am using silicon sheets now, they are looking better and better. I am writing a Thank You to my PS for giving my "Michelle Obama" arms, just as I asked :) Okay, so they look more like hers than before my surgery for sure!!! I don't mind the scar at all, in fact, it reminds me of how far I have come, achieving my fitness goals and just investing in myself, because I am worth it!

I am 6 weeks post op and have been wearing my compression garment and silicon sheets just about 24/7. Usually at night take them off to shower, clean the silicon sheets and let them air dry and rest my arms for about an hour before putting it all back on. My scars are healing so well, I am so surprised. Some areas actually healed together without evidence of scar! I am posting pictures I just took that show how my scars are healing.
