22 days post

I'm finally getting the right drain out today! I've felt so great that I over did it and started to fill my drains more. She didn't want to take my drain out at the 2 week appointment.

My breasts have started to drop. Yay! They're still high but coming down, softening up, and not so squarish. I'm still not in a bra yet. Soooo glad she put in 650cc instead of 550cc. I'm tall and athletic. It looks perfect for my height and athletic build.

Textbook recovery so far. Feeling great and listening to my body when it says to slow down. Some swelling but very impressed with results so far. Following all doctor's orders exactly. Drove for the first time last Monday, which was 14 days post-op. Heading to the gym in just a few to walk a snail's pace on the treadmill. Thought I would take a few pictures for everyone. Couldn't be happier so far. Looking forward to my breasts dropping more in the next 3-6 weeks. Doctor says that as they drop the incision will hide under the breast fold. Incisions are very fine and bruising is minimal. She has a precise and gentle touch. Looks worse because of the glue and scabbing right now. Under the black is a very fine line.

Follow up is Friday and she takes out remaining drain and sutures on breast. ( had the left drain removed 11 days post-op)

I do get tired quickly and I'm still moving slowly. After driving a friend for her lipo follow last Monday , I zonked out in the recliner for a couple hours. Breast are still tender.

One interesting thing that happened around the night of 2 days post-op is my left breast was very sore. Under the arm pit was aching and I started to massage it deeply and vigorously. It made a popping sound, which gave me instant relief. I'm guessing it was an air pocket? Also my bellybutton turned black and I freaked out. She saw me right away and it was just scabbing. Bellybutton is just fine. Phew!
