My progress...
WORTH IT$13,500
I'm currently a little over 8 weeks post op and feel fantastic!! Took a little over 5 weeks for me to stand up straigh, and really I would say that was the worst part of the recovery ( oh! the the back pain!) soo glad thats over! :) I still feel my abdominal area hard as a rock but doesn't bother me much as when I had skin extremely tight...slowly the skin is relaxing and the minimal swelling I had is going away. Started exercising last week and feel great, already lost 5 lbs! Goal is to lose 10 more..I also started the scar treatment at week 6 and scar is looking better and better everday. Doctor did an amazing job with the incision it's incredibly thin! Overall I feel 100% at 8 weeks post opt and I'm in love with my results! Waiting for the 3 month mark to go shopping!!!

OMG, wow that is so fantastic, nearly 6inches in the main part of the diastasis! You must be so pleased. Oh I hope that happens for me! You look SO good, so slim. And this is only at 23days post. No doubt you're still swelling so it will go even a little bit smaller. Yay for you!
Thank you soo much! I'm very happy..I don't look pregnant anymore :)... And that is true, I still have some swelling so I should see measurements decrease a bit... I'm sure you too will have awesome results and I can't wait to see.
You really do look dramatically different through the waist, just so good. You've inspired me to take my measurements so I can have the pleasure of seeing the difference...I hope :s
I so wish I had done measurements before this is awesome to see. I am two weeks post-op tomorrow and don't get me wrong I love it but feeling like I still have such a pooch. I have been upright completely since day 3 post -op.... congrats on your results!!!
Thank you! Wow 3 days! You just saved yourself alot of back pain :) , I got strecthed so much I still can't fully walk straight. You are looking great already can you imagine in a few weeks! Happy healing!

I Lost inches!
Finally starting to straighten up a bit...still not fully straight but much better, now I'm able to do things around the house..yay!... Also scabs are finally shedding off and results are looking amazing..very happy so far... Did have a little scare though, as I was enjoying an amazing shower (sitting down on a folding chair of course) I decided to start peeling some of the tape off. I took off all the center area and what I could off the sides. As I was inspecting cut the next night, some how I had pulled off a scab and cut was bleeding. I was terrified! Thoughts of the cut opening crossed my mind ( I have seen cases where a wound opens up..scary) I cleaned the small opening and put a dressing. The next night as I was removing the dressing to clean it, the bottom part of the opening was stuck on the dressing! I was concern it wasn't going to close. In my first aid kit I found the perfect bandage to keep skin together and it has worked perfectly, opening is now closing. So now I know to leave my tape alone till it falls on its own. For now I'll just wait patiently to straighten up fully and post some before and after pics :)

I am at 8 weeks too, just did a 8k run Saturday and was really excited just to finish. I definitely noticed what the time off from exercising did to my fitness level tho lol. What are you using for scar treatment?
