Still not happy with results my belly button isn't centered. I can still pull skin out which kinda upsets me bc I did spend so much and have loose skin still. I'm going talk to my ps next appointment which isn't for another 2-3 weeks. He told me he'd b able to get All of my stretch marks bc the were all under my belly button, yet I have one. Totally disheartening I've gone through all of this and it's not what I thought at all. I can't even notice that he did lipo of my flanks they look exactly the same. I know they sat it gets better but how can it get better I already have loose skin. Auh irratating and I've also been meal portion controling so I know it's not me gaining weight.

You look great! Your incision is so thin & light already. I think it's good that you can pinch the skin. You definitely know that there's no fat there & must not be any or much swelling. I'd say yeah!!! You're healing greatly!!!

I wouldn't judge by whether u get a pinch or not. Do you like the look in your clothes, bathing suit, underwear, when you bend over.. Things like that. Is it the belly button moving or was it off center from the start? If it's moving aggressive massaging might help loosen scare tissue.

I went to the ps yesterday (not my usual dr., he was out on surgery). He told me where my drains were it looked like the tissue was trying to come together. As for my belly button it looked good. I'm still oozing out of them and I'm starting to feel blue about doing the surgery again. Just when i start seeing progress something happens. I honestly wish my life would just go back to the way it was. I'm not any smaller than i was i just replaced my skin for a scar. I really thought this surgery would make me feel good about my body again but its doing the exact opposite. But as my mom you just gotta keep on trucking. Im hoping this all goes away very soon. Also just got a letter from insurance rejecting my claim for a breast reduction. Just all in all feeling blue. Hopefully I get out of this mood very soon. :( no pics today i look the same red and oozing story of my life

Hey momma hang in there. I know it's hard when the results aren't exactly what you want. The end story is you'll heal and you may feel very differently than you do today. I'm hoping on it, in fact. It's hard to manage this with kids and all. I totally get that.

Also day ten you were already unhappy and saying you needed more lipo. You look awesome. The day of surgery rift after you look much, much smaller. We are our own worst critic. You look totally different. Get off the scale and forget about the numbers. I don't even own a scale ;) you look better!

I was excited the day after surgery but I'm wondering if I was standing a certain way bc that's def not what i look like now. i can't even fit in my clothes without doing the pregnancy loop. I was getting over that till i started getting this oozing everywhere its horrible.

Things will get better. I had a lot of days like your having . I went back and looked at your before pictures and I think you look much better now. It's not so much about being smaller, having a TT isn't going to make you any smaller than just removing the loose skin, repairing the stretched out muscles and give you a new belly button. I think you look great. Once you heal up and your body stops throwing you into depression modes you won't have doubts about your choice to do this. When you put on a pair of jeans and a tight shirt this summer you are going to love that there is no jelly roll hanging over. You're not going to have loose skin anymore! That's the best part! Isn't that why you wanted the tummy tuck? To feel and look good in your clothes? Try to be patient. You're almost out of the funky feeling stage :)

yes thats why I originally wanted the tummy tuck. When i look at my results i'm disappointed. I don't even fit in my pants i have to do the pregnancy loop and even then as i walk i can't even do that. i feel like i've replaced my skin for a scar bc thats the only noticeable thing

I had to use a rubber band to wear my pants for 7 weeks after my TT. It will get better, I'm still swelling and I'm 10 weeks post

My measurements are all still bigger than before surgery. I still can't fit into my jeans. My bellybutton died. I just keep trying to chant in my "6 months, 6 months, 6 months." I pray the swelling goes down & things start to fit before that but realistically I guess we shouldn't get upset until 6 months. That being said I had tears in my eyes because all my jeans that were falling off of me before surgery are like sausage casing :-( Think happy thoughts!!!!

The ups and downs are totally normal. No matter how mentally prepared we think we are for the recovery process, you just have to go through it. You look lots better right now and you will look even better once the swelling goes down. Hang in there!!

I'd contact your ps. Maybe your allergic to the scar treatment? ?
March 24, 2015
I did they told me to go in in the am... They wouldn't let me talk to then to tell me what to do in the mean time. So instead of using the scar treatment I just put gauze over it.

Almost looks like you had a reaction from it being covered by something square. Padding? Tape? Did you have something covering it? New gel, cream or lotion? I'd definitely see the doc in the morning but looks like it just needs to dry or air out til it heals up.
March 24, 2015
I pit the scar stuff on it like I did my incision. I have had it airing out with gauze since last night. I'm not gonna b able to go to my ps office today like he said. My kids have Dr appointment that I've had for 3 months and I'm not going to wait and additional 3 months. So if he doesn't do something over the phone i guess it'll have to wait till Wednesday

Does it look any better today?
March 25, 2015
It actually looks worse believe it or not. It's oozing everywhere. Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow and I can see my ps then as well

Both look really sore, I'm sorry. Is your incision infected? Are you wearing blue jeans or tighter pants that could be rubbing your incision? Hope you feel better soon.
March 25, 2015
I'm not wearing jeans, I'm thankful to fit in my sweat pants. My swelling is still bad. I'm not sure I'm infected but I'd assume so (poured hydrogen peroxide on and it bubbled up). I'm hoping to see my ps tomorrow bc I just looked at it again and it's worse oozing everywhere. Just my luck.
