I started searching for ways to get the...
I was in no rush to proceed with (any) procedure, so as I shopped the competition in the greater San Antonio area I realized how so many treat their potential patients as "cattle." Most of the time ONLY meeting with a nurse, never-even-receiving a handshake from the doctor. This for me is a problem. However, this was NOT the case @all when I arrived at Dr. Lawton's office.
Upon arrival I was greeted respectfully with a warm-welcome & smile. Once escorted back to the examination room/s the experience only continued to be professional (& comfortable). Once the preliminary work was done, Dr. Lawton came & spent a beyond reasonable amount of time listening to me, not just hearing me!.
Every other office I had stepped in I felt someone had tried to up sell me on a treatment, service, etc. That was not the case with Dr. Lawton & his outstanding team. I feel, they simply wanted to deliver the best service & do the right thing for each individual patient.

Patient education is the most important part of any consultation. Once you know the risks, benefits and limitations of the procedures then we can discuss your goals and apply the rules to the anatomy to arrive at a plan. If you don't start with education then you don't get to be part of the decisions. Since it is your body it is critical you are involved in the decisions!!
