Yesterday marked 2 weeks post op for me! I am doing quite fine. I tried not taking the pain medicine a few days ago and that didn't pan out well because I started to feel stinging pain on my incisions. I found that taking them when I wake up and before bedtime helped me sleep better. I have morning boob every day! Some days worse than others but still, morning boob! I can't wait until that goes away! It's getting easier to deal with now. You definitely have to work on your abs pre op ladies! You will be thankful when you find you can't use your chest muscles. IT's even worse for transaxillary (armpit)) incisions because you can't use your arms at all! muscle spasm galore if you do! It's getting a lot easier for me in the mornings. I'm taking my Arnica as often as I can. Arnica Montana is a miraculous healer for bruises! I'm doing my best taking my vitamins and meds.
The one thing I did notice is the last few days I've been sleeping like crazy!!! I think it's partially to do with PMS though because I just got my period this morning. boo for me :(
Hubby and I go on a cruise next week! I'm excited but worried about my incisions. No swimming for me since I'm menstruating but I'm excited nonetheless! Weather in San Antonio has been pretty hideous lately! I'll be glad to get away from this boring family-less friend-less land that I've come to call home the last 7 months.

Post Op Day 8 - Woke up with morning boob. Extra sore from massaging yesterday. Continued w/the massaging today. Real tired though. still bloated :( Feeling fat now ...sighs. Going to bed...

First post op went great! Was real quick too. The nurse took out my stitches and then showed me how to massage them. First I massage pushing down on above the niple with opposite hand and other hand reinforcing the hand pressing down on the breast. Push down until it looks like my nipple is facing the ceiling (hold for 10 secs and switch). the idea is to push the implant's way to the lower pole to fill it out and hopefully bring nipple centered on my breasts. She taught me to push both the girls inward from the sides and holding each massage 10 seconds to get more cleavage. I've got to do this at least 4 times a day!
I"m feeling much better today! Even got some cleaning and laundry done! I've been working on my massages-even now as i update and surf the net :) I plan to do it as many times as I can during the day! I want these puppies to drop and fluff asap!
BTW I totally forgot to tell her I'm bloated and haven't gone in 8 days!! I took some Phillips Milk of Magnesia hour or so ago and am waiting for some results because some women are scaring me saying it could be serious and have me ending up in the ER! YIKes!! Sure don't want that now do we??!!!

Congrats and welcome to the other side. I am 4 weeks post op today and I got 616cc silicone under the muscle. I bought the VS bra and realized it was too small squashing my babies so I graduated to a genie bra for the last two weeks. Now that some more swelling has gone the VS bra fits comfy and gives me good support during the day. I've been wearing it the last two days. Good luck on your recovery and make sure to get your rest so you will heal. I will continue to follow your progress

Hey mama! Just took stitches and tape off Mu armpit incisions! Nurse said they are looking great. She taught me the massages so I can't wait to get started! 616s aye? I bet they look amazing! I've heard good things about genie bras and coobies! They're cute and they look comfy! Cheap too! 18-22 bucks depending on style and lots of colors to choose from! Ill def be following you too! :)

Yay, I think all the ladies agree, that the morning we wake up pretty painless is always a nice surprise! Just a word from experience, I had major surgery (brain tumor) 7 years ago and was completely backed up because of pain meds. Well, I couldnt go, and couldnt go and I was so desperaten, I drank several cups of prune juice and took a laxative (I cant remember which one, as I was still in the hospital and loopy). Anyhow, DONT GET DESPERATE!!! Because for hours I had stomach cramps and gas like crazy and still no BM! It finally came (painfully) along with major diarrea (sorry if tmi) but it seriously was one of the worst experiences of my life! This time around, I ate a little brick of chocolate chewable Exlax every day. No problems, but still VERY bloated (I think water retention). Really really hope you go soon! I totally know how you feel!

Thanks hun! eek I'm getting the gas but nothing major! Still no hint of a BM soon :/ Arghhh I'll just keep taking halfdose of the Philips until it happens!! Thanks for sharing!!! huxx

Good luck on your follow up appointment! What band size are you? You say you have a wide chest and hope to achieve a C or D cup. Just curious because I'm getting 425cc and hoping to achieve that from a 36 A cup!!! Could be far fetched? My PS won't go any higher!!!

Really?! Mine was open to whatever I wanted, he just started sizers at 450 and knew I had to go bigger (at least 500) to achieve increase of 2 cup sizes and the fuller look I wanted. Honestly, I dont even know my band size! I was a little surprised they didn't even measure me at my consult or pre-op! :( I'm going to figure some way to measure my band size right now without a measuring tape. What's your band size? But to give you an idea I usually wear 36B or 34B depending on the bra. Almost always 36B though!
Have you tried going to other PS's? It sounds like that 425 isn't going to do much for you -My PS said it takes about 200cc's to go up a cup then you have to factor in that you may lose some going under the muscle. (At least thats what they say!) Honestly, the 550s arent even that big on me! I'm sure going 500 will not dissapoint!
Noone's even noticed my breasts! They look like they do when I wear heavily padded bras! lol

I was a small 36b got 397. Measured today am a 38d or.. 36dd as my "sister" size.
