I had a severely deviated septum which caused difficulty breathing and getting a good night’s sleep. I’m also very active and it became difficult to catch my breath and improve physical performance. I also had some cosmetic changes done to the tip of my nose. Recovery from the surgery is no cake walk, but my pain was managed appropriately and I was educated about what to expect. The outcome was better than I could have even imagined. I can breathe wonderfully now during exercise, and I sleep better than I can ever remember. Also, I seem to be less anxious in general, which was an unexpected benefit.

Dr. Ward has the best bedside-manner of any physician I've encountered. He's patient, attentive, reassuring, and highly knowledgeable. He listens carefully to your concerns and expectations and never makes you feel hurried. He always treated me with high regard and was happy to answer all of my questions. With the cosmetic aspect of this type of combined surgery, it's difficult to know exactly what the outcome will be. There is a level of trust that you must have in your surgeon, in that they will make the right aesthetic decisions once they're in there. I'm so glad that I put my trust in Dr. Ward. His skill and sense of aesthetic are impeccable and the surgery has changed my life for the better! In addition, his staff is also incredible and hand-picked. They helped ease my nervousness and told me what to expect pre and post-op. His NP and Assistant and are both super sharp and on top of things. If asked to make the choice again, I would not hesitate to choose Dr. Ward and his staff.
