I have had chronic sinus infections for years and years. I also, never liked my nose. I was looking for a doctor that specialized in facial plastic surgery and that I trusted to perform Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty. I went to a consultation with Dr. Daniel Ward at Form Med Spa. I was very impressed with him right off the bat. I got into surgery the day and time I wanted. It was very painful and uncomfortable, because I am allergic to Percocet. I didn't realize I was allergic to Percocet, until I took it. Luckily they prescribed me some anti-nausea medication, which helped right after I took it. No problem with Dr. Ward, but I have feedback for the head nurse. I was prescribed hydrocodone, because Tylenol did not even touch my pain. I was prescribed 20 Hydrocodone, come to find out it's the mild form, so I easily took 2 every 4 hours. It would have been helpful to have valuum or something else to help me sleep through the pain, because I didn't sleep for a few weeks. I had to leave the splints in my nose for 2 weeks, because my perforation was so big, so I didn't get much sleep. Dr. Ward apologized for that, but the head nurse that was in charge of prescription medication was way too stingy. I don't take pain medication, but this pain was intense. As I look back it was well worth it of course, but my suggestion is to discuss a back up plan in case Percocet does not agree with you. Everyone is different with their recovery, but I guess your genetic makeup can determine how much pain you feel after the surgery. My nose looks great for only having surgery 6 weeks ago. Dr. Ward did an amazing job, so I recommend him for any type of procedure. I can tell I'm fighting off a sinus infection and I don't need antibiotics and my nose is not clogged, which is a big deal! Dr. Ward made slight changes to my nose, and it looks natural, so I'm glad I chose him as my surgeon!

Dr. Daniel Ward impressed me right off the bat. I loved his bedside manner and I immediately trusted him. It was crazy that after one consultation I didn't have any hesitation about wanting him to do my surgery. His office is beautiful and the wait time was not bad at all. He gave me the things that could go wrong and things that could go right. The perforation in my septum was very large, so he fixed about 80% of it with my rib cartilage, which is better than I expected. I went to a consultation with another doctor who told me it would be hard to fill 50-100% of it and it might not hold. I just went to a follow up a few days ago with Dr. ward, and So far so good with the cartilage holding. He made slight changes to the appearance of my nose, that I have been wanting for years. He did an amazing job with my nose. Even though I have 6-12 months until all the swelling goes down, I am very impressed with the finished product. I can tell he is very attentive to detail. I highly recommend Dr. Ward!
