I did a full review for my mommy makeover, but I figured I would separate out the procedures, too, in case in helped someone else. I have been in pain for YEARS and always felt this hot poker pain between my shoulder blades.

I'm 5'3" and 129, so the 34g was just too much for me. Saggy and not cute. Insurance surprisingly covered the reduction down to 34c. They look really good and round--I like Dr Reuben's technique. My husband also thinks they look great.

I can buy cute bras and I realized that I no longer have a neck knot that I had gotten so used to that I didn't even realize the tension till it was gone. So so worth it!

This is great that you can see the expected results so soon. Could you tell what technic dr. Reuben used to go from G to a C? Most women complain that BR was not to the size they expected... Most PSs say that oh, the bigger breast fits your figure better, but it think it is just an excuse for a simpler procedure... This is why I was wondering about the technic. Again, thrilled for your great results, as for me, I am just looking for a right PS with a right technic :-). Thank you in advance!

I can't remember what he said but I'll ask. I think it was medial pedicle or something that sounded like that. He does vertical and anchor, but I required the anchor. They don't look square and he brought them inward somehow. Love em.

Thank you so much for reply! I thought it would be anchor type procedure. I think it gives better results, and you confirmed it... How long was the down time for BR?

I did the BR and the tummy tuck at the same time. It wasn't that bad. I'll be 2 weeks out tomorrow. As far as downtime, I was fine to be up and around that same evening, but I still have fatigue. You definitely wouldn't want to do any heavy lifting for a few weeks.

Thank you! I am looking for a great PS for BR located in South Florida between Miami and Palm Beach Gardens. Ladies, if anybody knows of somebody Great, please let me know. Thank you All.

The "neck knot" you are speaking of, was that located on the back almost lookinf like a hump? I am schedule to have a TT and BS in Jan. I am so nervous but ready. Back pain is very bad. Some days I all I can do is go home and get on the heating pad.

You couldn't really see a hump, but it was like a constant muscle knot and ache. I have done chiropractic, massages, etc. and NOTHING helped the back pain like the breast reduction did. Before surgery, I would catch myself slouching or hunching because standing up straight would hurt. I am a little tender now, but my shoulders and neck aren't inflamed and sore like they always used to be. I wish I'd done it 20 yrs ago (although 20 yrs ago my surgeon probably was in junior high lol!) best decision ever. The tummy tuck wasn't that bad. I was braced for terror and agony, and it was just more...uncomfortable. I do get tired very easily, which is a little annoying but ok. I also got really emotional about a week post op but that's done now. I am not one of those tough women at all (I totally needed pain control during labor, etc.) but even so, it really is all pretty manageable.
