2 week update
Tomorrow is two weeks for me post op. my right is still high but no longer so tight. Good sign right? I'm suppose to start rubbing or massaging the incision tomorrow. Did any of your PS tell you to take vitamin e after surgery. I'm suppose to start taking 400iu vitamin E every day for the life of the implant... Crazy.
One week post op appointment
Got the tape strips taken off today. They showed me how to massage. Which really is not massaging? Interesting. Nurse said to follow up in a month instead of three. Guess they want to make sure that high and tight right side settles like the left...hmmmm
1st day back to work
I went into work today. Only did 1 cut and color. (Btw last night did not sleep at all) and today I'm in pain. The right side is tighter and hurts a lot more. Nurse told me that it was fine as long as it does not get larger? I'm off the Percocet and only taking ibuprofen every 8 hours. I can't take the pain meds cause they cause so much bloating and make me tired. I've had to pick up my 12mth old a couple of times, trying hard not to.
