My insurance covered most of my surgery as it was seen as nessecary and the amount I posted above is just a gestimate as I have not recieved a bill as of yet. Ive had long labia all my life and really didnt think any better or worse of them until I met my recent husband. After having 7 large babies I decided that some repair work needed to be done in that area. I am currently on day 10 of recovery and am not sure of how I feel about the results. As I have not used my new vagina yet . I feel like I could use some more labia removed and would like them to be a bit more symmetrical. But maybe some of that is due to swelling and the healing process.

You will know your full result at 6 weeks, but you have a pretty good idea at 3-4 weeks... Although swelling does continue to go down !
I agree with you, I'm going to be going back in just to have that little extra off on one side (it matters to me) but its all how you want to look, do why makes you happy!
Book an appointment to talk with your surgon, and just let him know your a little unhappy with the end result and you can discuss where to go from there !

I disagree. My results continued to change drastically beyond 6 weeks. It looks completely different now at 12 weeks then it did at that time. For the better :)

Im definitely going to talk to him about a lottle more trimming. The labiaplasty wasnt super painful for me. Just kind of irrating the rectocele (vaginoplasty) and perinium repair was the most painful part. Im a little worried to have sex in 4 weeks just because of what ive read. Hopefully it wont be too painful.

Im kind of a slap healthier as well. I had bruising up to 15 days post op. I hope the swelling goes down a bit and the suture indents dont stay.

Also, it does suck going through the pain another time over.., but I look at it as its worth it because your surgon does care about you by not cutting the intire labia off like I have seen on the site do to poor girls ! It's better to cut not enough off then to much, because you can't get them back but you can always trim it down !

That is very true! I have seen a lot of women have too much taken off and have to have reconstructive suregery. Funny thing is he left more on the side that was initially smaller.
