Single mom of a 6yo boy, looking forward to looking how I feel. I went for a consult in November and was told I might want to lose more weight so I've been doing HCG, and am now ready for a TT 25lbs later!
So today I went to see my wonderful PS Dr Dunkley!...
I read that I'll need something zip up and comfortable so I got a hoodie at the mall and went to get sweatpants at Victoria's secret-Now I know why girls wear them in public-they're FIFTY FREAKIN DOLLARS!
So Im wondering what other women's sizes have changed to-I'm about a 6/8- 6 is a bit tight, 8 I def need a belt with.
I talked to him about a breast lift, and got exctied when he went over how they would look and how they would be a cup smaller (I'm a sagggy 36D now), then I was told the price, and I can't do it :( I was hoping for 2k or less since Im already in there, but he said it would be significantly more. So for now it's just a TT. Maybe in another decade I can do a BL.

Wow, congratulations on your weight loss!! Good for you!! Have you scheduled your procedure, or is that yet to come?
So today I met with a nursing agency and worked...
Buying more sweats and reading blogs about other people's days 1-5 post op-is there anything anyone would advise me that maybe you're glad you did or wish you had thought of? Ive read a couple of things-sleep in recliner the first night, bring a pillow for the ride home...still researching...22 more days :)

Your date will be here before you know it!! Let's see the first five days are a bit crazy. Make sure to stay on top of your pain meds, drink plenty of fluids, take the Milk of Magnesia so you don't get all backed up from the meds, move around a bit so that you don't get stiff but don't over do it.
Know that the first week is the worst but it gets better and better. Be patient and don't expect too much too quickly. Just be extra good to yourself and rest.
Oh yes...and make sure to do your daily update posts so we can all see how you are doing.
Oh I read everything!!! You will be fine and will only have to listen to your body. If something hurts just modify the movement. You won't be able to do any lifting, bending, squatting, or heavy movements for a while. I drive at one week post op. When I think back I am not sure that was such a good idea. Hurt like hell and I was as nervous as a cat. You will have to see how you are feeling.
It's natural for women to want to go back to running the world right after surgery but DON'T!! You need to allow your body to heal.. The first 6 weeks are most critical so be good to yourself.
If you are tired and swelling you need to kick back and elevate the feet.
