Facelift-wow!!!
I decided to have a facelift after being bothered by my neck and jawline and I’m so glad that I found Dr. Ward. A friend recommended him and the experience was very good.
From the beginning, I was very well taken care of by everybody. I was interested in seeing him, because of my friend’s good experience, his reputation as a top doctor, and because be only does surgery on the face. When I arrived for my first consultation, everybody was so friendly and nice, especially Dr. Ward. I could tell from the beginning that this doctor really cared about me and wanted the best for me.
He is a very busy surgeon, but I was able to have my surgery within two weeks of having the consultation, because he said he always tries to reserve slots in the evenings on certain days to fit in people who need surgery at the last minute. The price was kind of expensive, but I expected that due to my friend’s experience and Dr. Ward’s reputation as one of the world’s top doctors. I also believe that you get what you pay for and I didn’t want a bad job done on my face!
The surgery itself was uneventful. Dr. Ward operates in a beautiful operating room that he designed himself to be comfortable and soothing to patients. My recovery had what I expected in terms of pain (there was some moderate pain, but not too bad) and bruising and swelling (I was bruised for about 9-10 days and swollen for a few weeks).
My recovery was helped by getting a massage package with their cute massage therapist who did some lymphatic massages and helped me recover more quickly. It is not very expensive and well worth it! I also got the LED recovery treatment package, which is also not very expensive and helped in my recovery. Another thing that helped me was the skin care system (designed by Dr. Ward). It is amazing stuff and my skin loves it! Well, actually I should say that my skin loves it now. At first the skin care system made my skin red and flaky and I even broke out a little bit, but I was instructed to just keep using it and it will get better. I did keep using it and it got better.
Throughout the recovery, dr. Ward’s staff took very good care of me and I can’t say enough about them or Dr. Ward!
