Thank you Dr Bitner, from consult to procedure to post op, you were kind, informative, and respectful. Thanks for taking the time at my consultation to listen to my concerns, inform me of my options, and letting me make an informed decision as to what procedures I wanted to have done. And thanks for all the care during my recovery. I am 57 years old and had been unhappy with the loose skin on my neck as well as my eyelids hanging down over my eyelashes for quite some time. I lost quite a bit of weight this year and decided to reward myself by visiting Dr Bitner. At my consultation with Dr Bitner, he took the time to explain everything, and gave me all the information I felt I needed to make my decisions. In July of 2015, I had a Browlift, Blepharplasty (eyelid upper & lower), Lip Augmentation, and Facelift. The reason I had the Browlift was because it was causing part of the eyelid problem. I chose to have the lip augmentation because of the one-time opportunity to use (smaz) – tissue from the facelift that would have been discarded anyway. The first week was really difficult. I did not look like myself because of the swelling and the bruises and I felt like I had a helmet on. I couldn’t open my mouth all the way and couldn’t smile or eat normal. I wondered what the heck I had done to myself and wondered if I should be having some regret. I am a very active person and so it was tough to be cooped up in the house. I didn’t feel like doing much but still wanted to get out and be in the world. I was told by Dr Bitner and his nurses that the first week would be difficult, so I was ready for it and knew it was normal so I just had to be patient. After two weeks, I went out publicly and was up front with my procedures. I still had some swelling and bruises under my eyes, so with a little makeup, I felt like I could be seen. At 5 ½ weeks, we went on vacation and I was able to golf, swim, and do all the things I wanted to. I still had numbness, and a little bruising and swelling, but looked normal and I was happy with the results. It is now December, has been over 4 months. My smile is normal, my eyelashes are growing now that my eyelids aren’t on them, my neck looks smooth, and my numbness is almost gone. All my bruising was gone by 6 weeks . I am truly happy with my procedures and so glad I had everything done. No regrets! Thanks Dr Bitner and all your staff for the care you took on my behalf. Thanks, Marlene
