Not too much has changed in the last few days. I'm still super bloated sadly... Any advice in that area? Swelling had gone down a decent amount. Still getting the nerve pain in the bottom outside of my left boob. I also have no feeling under my nipple in that area. From what I've read, that can be normal??
I'm just waiting for them to slowly drop now!! Here are some pics I took really quick with some bralettes on.
Also, my doctor wants me to wear the medical bra for 2 weeks and then sports bras after that for 3 months. This medical bra is starting to be very tight and uncomfortable and I can't help but feel that it's slowing down any dropping that might happen? A friend of mine that had a BA done a month ago was told to wear no bra for the first 2 months. I'm curious if there really is a wrong or right here???

2 days into recovery!
So I've been very lucky and haven't experienced lots of pain. After today I think I'll be ready to just start taking and ibprofen and Tylenol. Started to feel a little sick this morning because I took my meds without any food. If you're anything like me afterwards, I really haven't had an appetite but it's important to eat too not get sick and drink lots of fluids, like water and Gatorade, to heal faster.
I'm not icing anymore. After reading a few things I think I might have been over icing and didn't want to mess my skin up. I am though rubbing some stretch Mark oil on my boobs about twice a day and avoiding the insertion areas.
My right arm can almost reach all the way up already with no pain, but not so lucky with the left side. I can barely lift that side. I called the doctor and said it's normal for muscles to heal deferent speeds. Also, last night the hubby got out of bed and our 1 year old looked like she was going to roll if the need so I had to quickly reach my left arm over to grab her... So it would be sore from that too.

Oh yeah! And to try and help with the bloated affect from the meds I've been taking stool softeners and eating dried prunes from Costco and Activia yogurt.

Day 1 post-op!!!
Let's start with getting there! I got to the surgery center and checked in very quickly. The doctor came back and we talked about my wish pics again and what results I was wanting. Them IV got up in and I talked to the anesthesiaologist. If you're like me and you get sick easily or think you might definitely emphasize that to them! They loaded me up with tons of anti naseua mess and not oh boy were those a life saver, didn't get sick once!!
I barely remember going back then woke up in recovery. Everything went great and I didn't feel too bad. My chest just felt like it was bruised from being punched or something. They also gave me more pain meds through the IV before leaving.
So my doctor ended up going with 450cc high profile. I've taken a couple peeks and I think they're going to be perfect!!
We had a hour drive home which wasn't bad at all and I felt wide awake and fine once getting home. I've been taking my antibiotics, oxycodone, Valium (muscle relaxer, and zophran on a timed routine. I feel pretty darn good though still!! ALSO super important-I've been icing the whole time so far and I think it's really helping. Let me know if I forgot something you wanted to know about!! But so far, so good!!! These pics are less than 24 hours out.

I’ve been so nervous and have been checking this to see how you did. I’m worried about the pan but I have had another procedure and he said I would done fine bc of how I handled that one. Curious how you are feeling and if on day 2 post op you would get out and about to watch your kids soccer game??? That is what I’m worried about. I also coach a team and I’m getting mine done on a Thursday and I have a game on Sunday????

I'll just say it still hasn't been a full day and me and the hubby are going to watch a movie here soon lol. Pain is definitely tolerable as long as you take your meds as needed and don't try to do too much with your arms. I think you'll feel ok for the game, but definitely no running up and down the field are hard high fives

thank you for responding! I am glad you are doing well. Looking forward to seeing your progression over the next couple weeks leading up to mine.
