Life Changing Arm Lift

First let me start by saying, I never thought I would have any kind of plastic surgery in my life. After losing over 75 lbs, my upper arms look awful from my hanging skin from the weight loss + aging skin (mid 40’s). I was unable to wear a cute top or dress that would expose my upper arms, of course I felt like this was a punishment for my weight loss.
On a unusual warm day this past winter, I put on a short sleeve t-shirt, my arms look so bad from hanging skin, I decided I had to do something about it.
I have friends that are O.R. Nurses, I ask several of them for a recommendations for a plastic surgeon, that they would trust to do their surgery.
This lead me to Dr. James Scheu, he explained to me in great detail about having this procedure, he had several before & after pictures of his work for this procedure. The best part for me, the procedure was done in the office & I did not have to have anesthesia. I was very concerned when he said I would be awake & talking during the procedure, I have a low pain tolerance & thought there was no way this would not be painful. I was very wrong, with pain medication I was awake, felt absolutely no pain, asking Dr. Scheu a million questions about how he became a doctor. Not only is he a good doctor, he was happy to answer my questions & the time went by fast.
After a few days, I asked one of my nurse friends to take off the dressing & give me a peak at my arms. I have a photo she took of me looking at my arms with one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen on my face.

I feel like I was very blessed to have Dr. Scheu for my surgeon, I know they are many bad surgeons out there & thankful to have friends that are O.R. nurses to lead me to him & I did not have to go to a total stranger.

You do have a scar from the procedure & this scar gets much better over time.
I am happy to say I am 100% satisfied with my decision to have this procedure & highly recommend Dr. Scheu.
