Friend who opposed my surgery now talking about it for her!!
My husband and I went out for supper with some friends on New Year's day. Everyone at the table is in their 50's but me (49). They had lots of questions about my surgery and after pain ect. Age was a big topic of the evening, being brought up by our friends over and over, they said I look 35. So I said to my friend, why don't you look into it? She said she might, her husband had already been talking about it since they saw me last. This is from a couple (who are both psychiatrists) that when I told them I was getting 'work' done, said it was very sad that I let society push me into major surgery, that I did not need it. I am glad I did this, I feel so much better now. I admit I do not want everyone to know that I had 'work' done, but I am not ashamed of it. I am pretty sure that I will have more surgery, a mommy makeover. Why not? Why should I let myself go if I can do something about it? I snapped a couple pictures before I left to eat with my friends, never would have done this before I had surgery.

You look great!
Thank You.
What procedures did u have done with the eyes and did it include brow lift?
Upper and lower bleph and yes a brow lift. I also had a neck lift, lower facelift, chin implant, CO2 laser over entire face with concentration under eyes and fat transfer under eyes. It was pretty intense for the first 4 to 5 days, but after that I healed very fast and am pleased overall. I would do this again. I hope this helps.
BUtiful...what does fat FEEL like in the areas it was injected? Now that swelling is not very (at all) there, can you feel with your fingers where it is? Any of the lumpiness or irregularity that might not be visible but is apparent to touch esp in thin-skin areas under eye near upper cheek? tks, grace
Grace, I notice absolutely not difference in the areas that fat was injected. No lumps visible or palpable, all feels completely normal. I have some healing left just in front of my ears left to go. Not visible but there is still some palpable 'thickness' of the underlying tissue more so on the right side. My doctor says that there was work done right there on deep layers, muscles, ect. He said it would take a little longer and since then there has been much improvement. I do massage the area when I think about it. No problem at all with the fat transfer, and I do not have to do it every year like fillers. My PS is very experienced in fat transfer, I would suggest finding a doc with plenty of experience. I know you would Grace, but just in case someone else is reading this. I strongly suggest that anyone planning to have facial surgery look for a PS who does face work only. Just my opinion.
Looks good, so fresh faced.
Thank You Guiness, I am so happy that I did this.
