Dr. Mills was my 4th consultation. The first 3 surgeon's I saw made different recommendations on implant size and profiles which only complicated my decision making process. Unlike the other initial consults that were conducted in an exam room my initial consult with Dr. Mills included his nurse in a private nicely decorated comfortable "living room" environment which put me at ease right of the bat. I felt comfortable sharing the other professional opinions I had received and answering his questions about my desired outcome of a natural fuller version of my existing breasts. I explained I was 42 years old and did not want high perky large breasts that looked like they belong on a 25 year old instead of me.
The entire process went smooth. Between my initial consultation that included trying on sizer's and my pre op appointment with 3D Vectra I was confident in my implant decision. I decided on Natrelle Inspira 330cc smooth round moderate profile implants. They are placed under the muscle via an inframammary incision.Knowing from a previous ACL surgery that I'm slow to heal I decided to research and read reviews on how prepare for optimal recovery. After discussing my research and getting approval from Dr. Mills I decided to try VitaMedica's Recovery Support supplement program. The combination of the healthy nutrients that support wound healing, promote a healthy immune system and balance the natural inflammatory response were appealing to me. Between these supplements and the short term use of Nucynta, a gentler pain killer that I tolerated better than other pain meds (I have nausea and vomiting with other pain meds), I believe helped with a surprisingly easy and quick post op recovery with minimal downtime. It's been 7 months post op and I am extremely pleased with my results. I was recently measured at Nordstrom and went from a 32C to 32DD in my favorite Natori bras.

Thanks for sharing. Im a big believer in natural medicines and nutrition and would love if you could share any links that guide you on healing foods/nutrition following surgery.
So glad to hear you had an overall positive experience and that you're happy with your results! I appreciate you sharing your story considering that you know your body takes its time to heal. Good for you for getting professionally fitted for bras...the Natori bra is wonderful! How did your friends and family react to your surgery?
