One Year (and a week or so) Post Op
I am still 100% in love with my outcome! I still don't have 100% feeling back in the lower pole of my breasts but I don't have anywhere where I can't feel anything and it is still improving. My scars are still a bit pink and my PS said that some people can take a bit longer and that everything was fine. It just means that they're still healing. I did go through some boob greed and occasionally I still do but it's nothing a good push-up bra can't fix! This is by far the best decision I've ever made! I've never felt more confident with myself!
Just over three months post op
I am just a couple days past my three month mark! As some of you know I had been worried about not regaining feeling back in the lower half of my breasts. I have noticed a slight change in the amount of feeling I have now and I feel that it is improving. It's still not much but the area that I have absolutely no feeling seems to be getting smaller especially in my left breast. It's still pretty numb in my right breast but I so feel like is is improving ever so slightly. I have also noticed that when I lay on my sides, my left breast falls further than my right. I'm sure this has to do with the fact that I tend to sleep on my left side more. Therefore I have been trying to force myself to sleep on my right side so that they even out. The day after my last update I finally broke down and went out and bought Mederma for my scars because I didn't feel like that were improving very well and I figured that having some sort of medicine on them during the day couldn't hurt. I do feel like they have somewhat improved for the two weeks that I've been applying it. I know it can take a few months to really work so I am fairly hopeful. I am still absolutely 100% in love with my boobs! (Even if they make me worry sometimes lol) I am so happy I made this decision!
11 wells post op
Today marks 11 weeks post op! I am absolutely in love with my results so far! I couldn't be happier! I am starting to regain not feeling in the lower part of my breasts. I get shooting pains through my breast to my nipple. It's annoying but I'm glad the feeling is coming back. Also, I've noticed that my scars are starting to look less irritated which I'm very happy about! My breasts are definitely still sensitive when it comes to being squeezed. I learned that the hard way when my boyfriend decided to play with them. It wasn't anything too bad but it definitely caused a bit of pain. I've also noticed they're starting to fall more to the side when I lay down. That makes me so happy! I have noticed a bit more ripple when I sit or lay certain ways but it's nothing that's really noticeable unless you're feeling for it. I feel that the asymmetry is getting better. Either that or I'm just getting used to it. Either way I'm happy with the way they're turning out! They're still bigger that I was initially wanting but I am still in love with them!
Provider Review
From my very first consultation I knew Dr. Rottler was the doctor for me. I never felt rushed and was able to come back when I was starting to feel confused. He has given me what I have always dreamed of and I can't say enough good things to really express how much I love this doctor!
