For years I have been on the fence about getting a breast augmentation. For a while I had myself convinced that I wasn't going to get one because "they don't look or feel the same" and "if someone doesn't love me for who I am, then to hell with them". While the second still holds true, I have discovered that they can look and feel the same. finding out that one of my friends got her BA a few years ago was my game changer. Looking at hers and talking to her about her experience back in October gave me that push I needed to make this decision. Right now I am 5'6", about 105 lbs, and a 32A. I would like to be a full B or a small C. I started searching different doctors in the area and set up my first consultation with Dr. Rottler back in October of 2014. I had my first consultation and thought that 230cc implants were perfect. After my consultation I started looking at pictures of my "wish boobs" and this went on for months. I started to get nervous. I started talking with one of my friends about getting this procedure done and she told me that she was wanting to get hers done as well. So I set up a second consultation at the beginning of July and she tagged along for this one. There she helped me realize that 230cc was going to be too small and that 300cc was my max. I told Dr Rottler that I trusted his judgement but didn't want to be any bigger than 300cc. I scheduled my procedure that day and my friend scheduled herfirst consultation for 7/27. It's officially all becoming real and I cannot wait!

How exciting! Glad to see that you're not rushing into this. You're doing some great research and I'm certain it will all pay off in the end. We'd love to see any wish boob and/or pre op pictures you're comfortable sharing. Please update us often!

Wow our information is very similar. I'm a few inches shorter than you but with similar weight. My doctor that I chose recommended 230cc for me as well but I'm thinking about doing 250cc. I have a fear of going too small but probably a bigger fear of going too big. You should check out my profile and let me know your opinion. Thanks so much!

That is my biggest fear as well! I am thinking somewhere around 260-275 for me. The sizers my doctor had for me to try on were 230 and 300. The 230 was too small and 300 too big so I'm thinking somewhere in the middle. My post op is December 2 so I will post another update after that!

I'm seeing the same dr.! What was your experience like?

It was great! I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering a BA!

Have you had any complications? Did you get saline or silicone? Is sizing pretty close to what you were looking for?
December 24, 2015
I haven't had any complications so far and I don't think I will (other than having a slight reaction to the antibiotics like I do with every antibiotic pretty much). I got silicone under the muscle since I had so little tissue before. And sizing wise I would say yes it's almost exactly what I wanted as far as I can tell so far. I originally wanted to go somewhere between 260-275 and told him that but also brought in my goal pictures. He ended up going with 240 and they're the perfect size and I'm glad he went with the goal pics rather than what I thought I wanted. You have chosen a great doctor and everyone I know that's gone to him raves about him. I promise you you're in good hands :)

Thank you so much for making me feel more confident on dr selection. Were you given any advice on wound care and best way to take care so the heal really well. I was super sad that I couldn't get the trans aux incision. Did you have the option for that and choose to go under the boob?
December 24, 2015
He won't do silicone through the armpit because it's simply too big and they way saline is filled it's easier to fit it through smaller openings. So I was basically given the option of in the crease or through the nipple and I wasn't about to let them go anywhere near my nipple. And healing was basically putting Neosporin on it with dressing as well as antibiotics for three days and washing them with soap in the shower. After that it's basically putting on moisturizer and still washing them in the shower. He does have silicone strips for flattening out the scars as well which I bought today but probably won't use for a few days just to give them that little extra healing time. I've seen scars on girls he's worked on after over a year and they're barely noticeable.

Having trouble finding wish boob pictures...

AlexandraLena
I have been having some trouble finding wish boob pics. I have a size in mind that I want but I can't find any pictures that really show what I want. I definitely want to stay proportional to my small frame. I don't necessarily want "big" boobs. I still want them to be on the smaller side (a full B cup). But I feel like every picture I find may be too big. I've found a couple that may be okay but I'm not sure. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, PLEASE let me know. The pictures I have attached are my before pics and the few that I've found that I think might be okay.

When I was 23, my husband was teasing me about my small breasts, a small B size. I considered to enlarge them, but then decided not to do it. This was 50 years ago! At that time, the implants were actually quite dangerous, because silicone leaked and was extremely toxic. While we have better implants and meds today, it could be a different story. However, I'm now 73 and VERY HAPPY I didn't enlarge my breasts. I'm also keeping in good shape. Can you imagine what a sagging C cup looks like at a later stage in your life age? No thank you!

While I do appreciate your concern, I have done plenty of research and am very happy with the decision I've made. I'm currently 2 days post op and I'm in love with them. I'm well aware of the risks and the fact that I'll have to get them replaced and I've accepted that. Again, I do appreciate your concern though!

Ok hold up. I was going back to your history in why you chose a small increase like me. Then I saw this. Hilarious. Dblendin, why on earth are you on here if you're not interested in supporting Breast augmentation? Why on earth are you here?? Were you searching to post this one comment?

That's what I did. I had a like $2000 saved already when I decided and then saved up the rest over 10 months. I paid in full so I didn't have to worry about making payments or anything.
